I don't know if it's just me but people with 32-bit seem ti have less of a problem.

WELL, i still dc at cwkpq (my favorite pq) always at the boss part..., i think it just depends on how many people i go on the boss run with, and sense i always need 10 people in a cwkpq, then it fails T____T. GG NX

My friend and I uses Vista Home Prem. 32 Bit on our laptops. I rarely (or never) d/c when I go on Scar and Balrog PQ. My friend d/ced when he went to Scar. I told him to restart his laptop and so he did, we went in Scar again and he no longer d/c during the run. I haven't tried Zakum or HT yet but will try on them if I can.

What I would do to be safe is to restart your computer and change your Vista theme from Vista Aero to Windows Standard or Classic. This helps reduces the chances of being d/ced. Also, if you are connected wireless, switch to wired if possible. That way, there may not be any interferences between you and the Wifi connection point.

I usually restart my PC before I enter a boss to be safe and whenever I restart, I have never faced a D/C when the PC was just "freshly" restarted. I don't know if it will work for you but it helped for me. If this temporary solution no longer works, we're gonna have to wait till Nexon releases a OS compatibility patch which God knows when... =/.

@WiiorPS3 Whats Nexon gonna do? I even tried that before and nothing happened. Best thing I done was changed back to XP.

I don't know why people think it's Vista. All the computers I've used to play games have been Vista/Windows 7 and they never d/c during boss fights. It's probably your internet connection or crappy computer specs.

guys i have a solution that worked for me about 4/5 of the time at zak (free helm from guildies, no i was not killing xD)
1st get the game launcher from the folder and drag it to the desktop
then right click it and go to properties
click on the compatability tab and change the top scroll-down menu to Windows XP (service Pack 2)
then always use gamelauncher to play on boss runs
Note: even after all of this continue to switch screen resolution cause you will d/c unless you do

Edit: complete and utterly ninja'd

Right click on Maplestory.exe (Launch File) go to properties and go to the tab "Compatibility" look around and find "Run in ... Windows Service Pack 2 (There should be a list, use that one) and voila, your boss runs should now go without a problem.

If you get a message that closes Maplestory when doing this, make it so that you always run it as administrator and try using the Game Launch file rather than maplestorys website.

i think it's a problem with graphics cards.
i have vista, but i don't have a problem with d/cing; i have a problem with immense lag..
my friend has windows 7, but his graphics card is awesome and there is ZERO lag on his computer, so i think it's more your graphics card than your system.

Yeah i cant boss either, i tried dojo, but solo, i d/c when i get to manon/griffey because after crog i start lagging manon he starts flashing and if my computer fights for it i d/c at griffey but if i die and leave the dojo the screen goes black for like 5-10minutes and i d/c

@above i always dc at dojo, my music either glitches and plays the wrong music on the wrong map or snackbar, manon, griffey, or pap dc/es me (same way it does at boss runs) and i can pap fine with myself and others outside of this XPPP

YES! I have this problem too. I cant 2x cause i always dc, and i brb and i dc. ughh so annoying.
