Looking for a movie, please help
I've been trying to find a movie that I watched like 8 or so years ago, and no luck after 2 days of looking.
So I'm asking if you guys can help me? All I remember about the movie is that a family goes
to Mexico for vacation and stays at a hotel an it was around the holiday, Day of the Dead.
An the youngest kid of the family gets possessed by a spirit and his face looks like a painted skull.
Also please recommend any horror/thriller movies

@eskmoo Reminds of some movie that I think had Jackie Chan in it. Some guy and a spirit or something who I am pretty sure was Jackie Chan who was some chinese general riding a beautiful black horse into a desert battlefield and dies which they bring up several times in the movie. And something about some evil warlord and stuff. Then he ends up being possessed by the Jackie Chan or something and they go somewhere and fight the resurrected warlord. They fight in some place in an underground temple with a huge square arena where there seems to be no gravity. They win and then the spirit can finally rest in peace.
Another movie I vaguely remember. Had something to do with a sword I think. But I mostly remember the final fight. A man's friends and family are in the building and there is a pregnant woman that a monster wants to kill or something like that. The man and monster decide to take it outside so they square off at the top of the building. He is losing the fight. Meanwhile his friend is play a fighting game back in the building. However this game is really weird. The minute he selects his character who resembles (the main character) a wire appears and pierces the protagonists neck. Now his friend who is playing the game is controlling him. What appears on screen is the battle between the monster and the guy. It is a real tough fight for his friend who believes the AI is so advanced and difficult. It is a best of three some how it goes is he loses the first fight then proceeds to go through grueling dead even fights where he narrowly wins and the monster using its special super attack in the final fight which just so happens to be dodge and then the finishing blow is landed. Monster is defeated and everyone is saved. You know how it goes. On a side note I believe there is a game pause which pauses in real life so the guy is stuck frozen in mid air but not the monster who gets goes for some cheap shots.
I have watched some weird chinese action movies.

for a while I've been trying to remember which movie it was where jackie chan (i think) plays a cop and basically some bad guys kidnap his family or friends and he tries to saves them but always fails, and then it mixes it with video games and a simulation is released of the entire predicament and this guy tries to play the whole way through so he can save them.
like i can barely remember it and there's like a 1% chance this was a dream but I remember loving the movie.
