where do u get an elemental staff 5
besides the obvious way of buying from ppl, like does a monster drop it or can i craft it
p.s. i know it boosts fire types like flame wheel, but if u use moves like phantom imprint or illusion, does it do less damage? and can u use elemental reset to counter that?

I'm sorry but my elemental staff 5 is the proof that you are wrong and that it still comes from ellinia gach I bought it from a guy who got it there (ripped him off)

They give boost now. Only thing is, the color of the orb doesn't necessarily represent the boost it gives properly. Basically, both Fire and Poison orbs give 110% Fire and 105% Poison, and both Ice and Lighting orbs give 110% Ice and 105% Lightning.

As far as I know only Ellinia gach (where the dude whom i bought it from got it) showa spa gachapon and CWKPQ bonus stage (or that's what i've heard). pretty rare indeed. It boosts fire element by 10% but it doesnt decrease dark element (dark fog, PI) perfect for Evans.
Phantom Imprint is a dark elemental skill, and dark doesn't receive the penalties of a elemental weapon.
You can gach the elestaff 5 from ellinia but it's extremely rare and I've only seen it happen ONCE.
@YunqStar you should take your own advice, Toad doesn't drop ele staff 5-8. They're from gach only, with the exception of ele staff 7 that can be obtained from CWKPQ bonus. So ask your friend again to see exactly what number the staves that he sold were, and if they were 5,6,8 ask him to take an ss the next time he find one from castellan toad.
I can just as easily say that I got a DAB recipe from dark golems, but it doesn't mean it's true.

Toad drops 1-4. It has been proven. But really, if your friend really gets those staffs, please get a SS.

And if you can even find an Elemental Staff 5 for sale that is clean, it will be at least 8b.
IF the attack has an element which is not fire or poison, it will have a 25% damage reduction.
Bishops can use the staff and not get damage reduced on spells like teleport mastery, because it has no element.
If your Evan uses an ice skill, it will receive the damage penalty. But skills like Illusion which has no element, will not be effect by either the damage penalty or bonus.
Elemental reset does not effect weapon bonuses/penalties.

No it only boosts and as far as I know you can only buy them from MTS or other people unless you can still get them from gach =/
