The use of a potion when queen zombifies you will actually lower your HP.

yeah normally all other zombifies make your potions heal 50% less. Cqueen however does damage to you. Usually if you dont have 100% status resist you will also be burning from the flame. In this situation you use a pot and you will die instantly from the flame afterward. Always just heros will when cqueen goes into the DR mode (her only two attacks are DR, claw and cast zombify)

Normally yes, but Chaos Queen's zombify status effect works differently.

I believe that zombify makes it so that if you use pots that restore hp, you'll take that amount of damage. Since power elixirs restore your hp to full, you will take full damage.

I believe that is intentional. The characters I have that can't dispell zombify had the same problem using potions. My Cannoneer friend also had the same issue.
