Confused about Showdowns description

"Attacks up to 6 enemies and provokes them, making them untouchable." The word untouchable is colored orange.

It goes on to say "Provoked enemy becomes untouchable." The words "becomes untouchable" are colored orange.

What does it mean? I know it can't mean we won't take touch damage from it because I still get hit.

@minchuzuk3: You. My post mentioned the detail about taking touch damage. @Buster1651 cleared up my confusion about touch damage while you repeated what I was already confused about without adding anything to clear it up. I think you skipped the third line and forgot the first word of the thread's title.

I never said you were wrong about what it does, just you didn't read what was asked.

The description is accurate. If you mark an enemy, it can't touch damage you. It's got nothing to do with translations been lost or a glitch.
Except "provoked enemy becomes untouchable" implies that the enemy monster becomes untouchable, not you. The provoking part doesn't make sense either. If I provoke a monster, it shouldn't make me untouchable, it'd make that monster even more aggravated. Something is definitely off about the description.
If they attack you (attack animation) you get hit. However if you mark them with showdown, you don't receive touch damage from them and if you kill them while the mark is on them, you receive an additionally 40% drop and exp. So even if you mark a sdh blaze wizard, if they use that explosion attack and hits you, you take damage. Another example is Magnus. Mark him and touch damage is avoided however if he "attacks" you like his sword dash or sword swing, you will be hit.

Thank you for the details.
