Did you get the IGN you wanted? Share your story
Well i want to know if u could get the ign u wanted all this time and share your story.
For example I logged in like 5 hours after the maintenance, so i knew by then that the ign AnubiS wasnt there for me... but then i tried the very first ign i wanted when i created my Ultimate Adventure Pally, it was like my Basil's ID LordAnubiS, and BAM! got it, was so happy, my current ign is UAlordAnubiS, so i took off the UA bcuz it doesnt have the meaning that had back when u had to reach lvl 120 with a cygnus knight in order to create an UA and do the tedious peridots quest... but even if i didn't get the AnubiS ign, i got one even more suited for me, so I was pretty happy
Then i got another account(like a secondary acc) with an Aran main, wich ign was pretty bad xicexlegendx(didn't know what I was thinking back then lol ), so i wanted to change it pretty badly, then i saw that he was using the lvl 200 Aran's medal called: Aran the Hero and BAM! i got that right away and work it the first try lol, so im pretty happy with the results, i dont care to get more igns anymore bcuz i got the ones I wanted

@dogpukeyellow: One battery may not last very long on its own, but together three cell batteries will never run out of energy.

I'm happy that we all got favourable outcomes with event, Super pleased with the ign I got, turns out the one that I was aiming for doesn't exist...

I'm happy with what I already have.
I got all but one of the names i wanted, i was pretty fortunate.
I grabbed the following names from my most wanted list, although some are for a friend.

I still wonder if certain basiler got his so desired ign POOP... lol i saw him claiming it will be his igns for sure like a month ago lol. if u are there plz come out and tell us if u really got that one xD

Living in Australia sucks for these events because they happen early in the morning, I calculated it would end at 7 AM so I set a alarm for 6:30 AM, woke up at 6:15 and checked the main site on my phone and it showed the maintenance banner, so I fell back sleep and woke up 15 minutes later to check, and it finished at 6:30. (Actually finished at 6 AM)
Jumped out of bed, couldn't get Solitude which I seriously had my heart on (Someone else on this site got it, but they didn't want to trade with my ign's) I only ended up getting 1 on my list.
Then ended up trying some pretty meh ign's for an hour till I had to go to school.
Sidenote: Should any of you have the name solitude with an i instead of a l I'm offering:
Etherai (Etheral),Vailant (Valiant) or catus.
I waited 2 hours after the maintenance but still got the name I really wanted although it was a really obscure name to begin with haha. Other than that I got a few cool ones like aphotic, penutbutter, and some other second/third date names
I'm looking for the ign Rayne and Jiggypepper, message me if you want to trade :^(
- been camping 3 different server status checkers since 12pm eastern (in case maintenence finished early without warning)
- kept the launcher open via gamelauncher.exe (in the maplestory folder)
- logged in and got to the character screens at around 3:56pm eastern
- got a name for my bishop, and a name on a future alt character (i will not say what the name is until october 22nd)
- got my closed beta name on a alt character on my shadower account, and then logged off of that account
- waited 2 hours for everyone to have a chance to get whatever name they wanted
- went back on my bishop account and created about 5 more names for future link characters
Which would you guys choose for a new ign

Wasn't a long list tho xD just wanted to get all the one word animal names I could. Was even able to change my nightwalkers ign to Moose which is one of my nicknames on the game.
Well, I live in Australia; my time zone is GMT +10 and the maintenance ended during 5am in the morning. Luckily I got friends that would help me out to get the desired igns i want, such as aesthetic, illicit, refade and aquarius. After that 12 hours later from the maintenance i managed to snipe so igns that weren't taken such as pradatote and plainrice.
I changed mine to Leichhardt but then I remembered I wanted Silas as my username
God I wanted to kill myself afterwards :'(

I was overly happy with the Igns i got. sadly none of them are for trades i simply just want to make more characters. was only a few that I wanted that I didnt get like; rhino, duck and crow.
but seeing as I got well over 75% of the igns I wanted so can't complain.
Can someone help me and make a thread for me saying " Which IGN would you choose for your main?

Sadly no, I only got a handful of okay-ish IGNs due to being late 3 hours.
The one I most wanted? No.
Ones that will be palatable no matter how much or how long I have to look at them? Yes.
Similarly, premium ones that can garner amazing trade options for other IGNs I'd love? Yes - I undoubtedly got a few of the very best and I'm grateful for it.
If someone provided proof of prior ownership, I'd actually return it to them.
I got extremely lucky all things considered. Even though my timezone was never the problem, my sleep schedule was.
I woke up 10 minutes before the SC to the enthusiasm of my alliance who were also beckoning me to get cracking. @caeg @snowed <- Thanks - we all did very well. Pleasure doing it with you two.
