a good hacker?

A good hacker, by my definition, would be someone who hacks the accounts of people with easy-to-guess passwords and then lets the hackees know they've been hacked to show them how easy it is and advises them to change their password to something more complex, while of course returning access to the account.

Does anyone think such a hacker could ever exist?

so some ppl rnt total a-holes. who knew. even more surprising, a thread of mine didn't die within 10min of posting.

i do think that hackers and scammers r necessary in any mmo to teach ppl who they can and cant trust, but too many and it hurts more then it helps.

it's usually the closest person to them that they hack...
nothing really special, just sad to have back stabbers 24/7.
I don't understand why someone would resort to hacking an account without having in mind taking every single valuable items that is on the said account.
Why couldn't he just warn the said person via mail or in game message? (you can use a mule account to not get identified)
For the same reason as in real life.

It's easy to tell Company XYZ that their servers are insecure. They'll hem and haw and end up not doing jack due to cost.

Now put a ton of files entitled "ToldYouSo.txt" all over as root and you've made a clear message that can't possibly be ignored.

Someone made a thread about a guy who hacked him, the hacker created characters on his Maple account called UrPasss, WordIsToo, Eassyyy or some crap.
He didn't take anything off his account, just warned him.
