So how is Maple these days?
I recently got an email from nexon with the usual "returning mapler" offer to come back to the game and was wondering how the game's been holding up these past couple years. I came back briefly early 2014, but just gave up again aftwe my pc just refused to run it. I do still have a bit of love for the game, but I just couldn't continue with it the way it was. I was a Scanian, so needless to say there were constant issues with stability, lag, botters, etc. I don't really expect the "events" to ever let up, as it still seems to be a largely struggling game that still hasn't broken 1mill likes on facebook, but is it at least playable now? I did notice they hace a fancy new download screen, but that may just be a skin...

You should come, the returning mapler package will make it worth.
the game is good, easy to lvl so you have more time to do other stuff.
come back and check it out. the nostalgia rush that you will get at first will be worth the download.
well i dont remember how much memory it said i needed, but i did easily have enough and its not like i download anything else... it still takes like 20 hours to redownload, but i'll see if it works... i'd ditch maple in an instant though it they put arans on Maple 2. but does that even apply to scania? it is the most traffic-heavy server afterall... unless world transfers are a thing again?
you need at least 600mb free ram to load the game to the start page where you select your char. that was at last patch when they fixed it a bit. before, it was over 1.1 gb and couldn't load it on my ole laptop. this is when you computer has loaded windows - see how much ram left
events kinda lame. lag and stabiliity are no longer run-away out-of-control. only play if you want to
