Hows the Maple community now?
I quit Maple Story for a long time; if I recall, the last time I checked up on Maple was some time last year, maybe in the summer or fall, and most of the populated servers weren't looking as big and, well, populated, as usual. I heard news about crossovers with Attack on Titan and/or Sword Art Online (I'm a fan of both, sort of, but I just don't think they'll mix well with Maple) which was a turn off for me. What I'm asking is, how is Maple Story now, as a game, and how is the community? Has it been abandoned for the upcoming MS2? Is it worth coming back?

Honestly for me, everyone is just doing their own thing and not really socializing as before....other than those op henehos
You get mixed results as you can see from this forum.
I hope I encounter some decent people. I haven't played since Mercedes was released. And with all the updates since then, I realized that I'm (most likely) extremely under equipped/under powered. I should be fine but I certainly won't be hitting nearly as high as someone who has continued to play or someone who is well funded for quite some time.

Well i could honestly say the only people you could run into that are actually GOOD people who'd give you things and solo bosses for you are the people who played for several years and stuck around for a long time, like before 2010. Otherwise... Yeah...

I truly think it's gotten better. People, especially those are have already achieved their end-game goals, are more than willing to give away items and tips.
Depends on who you interact with..... Seriously that's all it comes down to. People play this game for different reasons. There are some nice enough in every group.
