Opinion on obesity

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwT4kTWVRa4
I am at a loss for sympathy
"Obesity is a disease. It is not something someone chooses to be."
"I'm 210lbs (95kg) and I'm totally in perfectly fine health"

People like her are morbidly obese because their daily calorie intake exceeds their daily calorie needs and this will never change.

@Dauntaro: females as well though, u dnt have to go crazy working out u just need to build up a sweat. I understand about the medication situation but just bicycles(laying on ur back version), couple of crunches and squats will make u loose weight also u have to watch what u eat. And losing weight doesnt occur in a day u have to do this daily or at least 4 days a week and u will progressively loose the weight. But if u have the whatever attitude like that u will never accomplish a beach body(if u ever wanted one). I am also not saying their is anything wrong with big ppl but everyone can loose weight using an excuse to not do something is just an easy way out
ppl should learn to work out at home just couple of crunches and pushups and watch wat u eat ull have a 6 pack or at least a flat stomach, you just need 30min of ur day and u dnt even that many reps if ur rly big start small 3 crunches 2 pushups and move up 1 everyday, but the BIGGEST THING TO DO IS WATCH WHAT YOU EAT
That's mostly applicable to males, as female bodies like to hang onto fat for whatever reason. It requires a little bit more effort on average.

I'm overweight (170lb, 5'7" ) because of medication. I used to be worse (195lb), but then I told my mom to stop shoveling food onto my plate and also started getting off muh butt. It's getting a little harder to lose weight because my metabolism went down in accordance with my weight, but whatever.

@MrsGoat1995 I agree with u they do but some ppl tell them its genetic and the moment they hear that they think its impossible to loose the weight but if you go back before fast food restaurants or anything that makes you lazy or the intake of calories is ridiculous for such a little amount, before all of that ppl were fit and took care of them selves. Being fat is not genetic the only way it is genetic cause if ur parent is big u want to be just as lazy as them sometimes thats the case only reason it is considered genetic BUT EVERYONE CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEIR WEIGHT

@MrsGoat1995 u should never hate someone cause u or ur kids would end up like that in the future karma is a B!t(#, u just have to explain to them it is possible to loose weight its not gunna happen over a week it takes 6 months to 2 years(depending on how big u are)..u have to be patient and work at it

I am only sympathetic to those struggling with their weight (whether too high or too low) and are actively trying to do something about it but are seeing little results because of whatever reasons. I am also sympathetic to those who are having these weight problems due to factors they couldn't control, such as health conditions, etc. However, i am not sympathetic to those who are simply too lazy to do something about it and just complain. Eating healthier is a wonderful start, exercising will basically do the rest.
