Classes with the least amount of buffs?

With the NX transfer event going on, I'm moving a bunch of perm NX from my Mercedes to a different character. I'm looking for a class that has as few buffs as possible, as the survivability and lack of buffing time is what made me fall in love with my Shade.

DPS doesn't really matter to me, but I'm moving away from my Mercedes because she's basically a punching bag. Thanks for the help.
I don't think NW has many buffs, but never played one. Most classes have around 5-6 buffs, which really isn't all that much.
I would not say this is true since NWs have to buff Dark Servant, Cygnus Knights version of Maple Warrior, Dark Elemenral, Claw Booster, and Spirit Projection.

I'd definitely say that Zero is up there for a class that does not have to buff a lot.

Shade and Zero, though BT can technically count as having very little buffs too (and Mechs kinda)

Warrior classes tend to have less buffs, as with Pirates,
while Mages and thieves tend to have a lot of buffs, and usually even rely on them.

I suggest playing a Cygnus Knight job, as they have a really small amount of buffs generally.

Of course, there are SOME exceptions (Dawn Warrior, for example, have like 7 buffs).

Zero, Mechanic, Thunder Breaker, are powerful and have a small amount of buffs.
Shade is strongly recommended as he has NO BUFFS, and he's considered a top meta character IMO.
That's a ton of help, thank you so much! I made a Battle Mage just to try it out for the new event so I think I'll work on getting that to 120 or so to see what it's like. My second choice was going to be Hayato as I have one already just for hyper, but I'm not a huge fan of funding another %str char. Maybe zero would be good for that since I've heard they don't require a ton of funding to do decent damage. Your post helped a lot, thanks again.
Get your Battle Mage to 130 before the event ends so you can grab the 15% crit rate ring. Movable across the account one time. (or keep it on your Battle Mage for now, if you land 15% crit Inner Pot or use Phantom lv2 link skill, he easily gets 100% crit rate. My lv131 Battle Mage has 100% crit on everything with Enrage on, and 96% crit rate on non-FB skills without Enrage. Note that FB has its own crit rate boost of 25%. FB has 100% crit without Enrage and with 15% inner pot, no phantom link needed)

Yeah Zero does stupid damage even without funds cause his skill damage % is stupid-high for everything. Since they all multi-line hit and have stupid-high %, its easy to hit damage cap and that's why they're at the top of the DPS charts.

Battle Mages only need to buff Booster + Maple Warrior. (both 300 seconds)

And then maybe their Aura if they get 1/1'd if you can't pot fast enough.

The ones that come to mind are Zero, Shade, Battle Mage, Mechanic, Hayato and Hero. I'm not counting hyper skills, however.

Shade has exactly one buff (Maple Warrior), so he's pretty much the winner there.

Zero has a toggle-able buff and one or two others.

Battle Mages do technically have a lot more buffs with each aura being one, but most of their buffs are toggle skills. You essentially turn them on once and they stay on. Other than those, they have 2 buffs (Booster and Maple Warrior).

Mechanics are similar in the way that they have some toggle-able buffs (tank/humanoid mode and their perfect armour), but the remaining buffs they have can almost all be put onto one macro (Overdrive, Mechanic Booster and Maple Warrior). They do also have Roll of the Dice/Double Down, which sadly cannot be macro'd.

Hayato has one toggle-able buff (Batojutsu Stance) and the rest can be put on one macro.

Finally, Heroes have one toggle-able buff (Combo Attack), Rage, Booster and Iron Body (that can be put onto one macro) and Maple Warrior. Substantially low buff usage, honestly.

I can retry Zero, I guess. I have one I made already but I only got to like 115 because I couldn't stand the play style. Maybe it gets better after a while, thanks for the info.

Zero and Shade are basically the two that come to mind when you think about classes w/o buffs. Other than Echo, MW and decent skills, Shade has only has a hyper to worry about and Zero only needs their aura and hypers.

Though really, it sounds like you're worried more about survivability than buffs.
