Main a Pally or Da?

I'm maining a pally atm but I'm not sure if I should switch my main to my DA. I don't have enough to fund both characters (or even one for that matter, lol). I like my pally, but I love the higher damage and skill set that comes with DA. I've had my pally for a while so I've got royal styles, fame, medals, etc. but I'm wondering if it would be worth it to rebuild all of that on my DA. I'd like to decide soon so I can take advantage of the cash transfer event if I decide to switch.

When in doubt, flip a coin.
I would say Pally. While DA is a fun class, Pallies are better because they're not exactly limited to spamming Execution and watching a 6 sec CD every 6 seconds. Focusing on Pally for funds will also be more liquid than DA because Str warrior equips are (obviously) much more needed than HP. HP equips are extremely limited to the rare Demon Avenger classes which very few people main.

There will also be the sense of satisfaction that you're dedicated on that one class. Personally having collections on a single character ties me down more than most other factors. It's knowing that you were dedicated that feels great. That's just my personal thought though.

If you still wish to play DA by all means do so! Fund your Pally till you're happy and then let some funds trickle down to your DA.

Taking myself as an example, I main a Zero and "second" a Dawn Warrior, Demon Avenger, Battle Mage and Paladin. I just set aside time for each character so I don't feel bound to my Zero. Consider this: spend 1 hour on one character and make 1% progress or spend an hour on another character and make 10% progress.
I main a pally and got a DA lvl 170, pally is my favorite class by far, i like DA style, but i prefer DS or my Zero(both lvl 200), i got over 250k with DA and i dint spend more than 200m, in the end is about ur play style, then u can make him ur second main, i got all my good items in my pally but try to put some funds in my second mains too so i dont get bored of the game and just 1 character, so i recommend to stay in ur pally and DA as ur second, its not that hard to be honest, obviously dont try to fund both equaly if u dont have the money

This is why I never haged characters. I maxed my trait, expanded my inventory (through events), got a lot of fun familiars, collected medals, did all the prequests, and the thought of starting over is dreadful.

The time has come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past. Forsake the darkness you once embraced, or the light will find no hold. Vanquish the dark knight! You and he are one no more!

Well I've got a 140 DA! I do like it, but it's hard to tell whether I like pallies more.

Honestly, if you truly love a class, you will almost always come back to it. I've mained my paladin for a few years and countless times I have tried to pick another class, lured by its damage. I've always come back to paladin.

But you should try out DA first before you go change. Make sure you like that class.
