how much range to cover 30% boss dmg loss
so the way my set effects work, i need to either give up the 5 and 6 emp set effect for a 4 set SW effect. is this worth?

Yes, and the character card has 8% pdr at SS rank I believe. Link skill stack so make both DS and BT.

nope. boss dmg has diminisihng retruns.. you will need less than 30% of your range, it depends no his total % boss dmg and total dmg...
Wait for beast tamer and you can get 20% from link skill lvl 2. Get it to 210 and you can have the full 30% back.
IF you lost 30% Damage Boss and you want to recover it, add 30% of your range and that would be what you have to end with.
