3ds Worth?

Is getting a 3DS worth now? It has been 2 years since it came out and I don't want to buy one this year because what if next year Nintendo comes out with a even better handheld device or DS.

Is this enough for you to buy a 3DS? Cause it's not all there is, I'm sure I'm forgetting some things. Seriously, 3DS is the best platform on the market right now.
As for a new console, that's really unlikely. 3DS is the best selling platform worldwide atm (aside from PS4 launch numbers, but we have to wait a few months to see how that really turns out), so it's highly unlikely Nintendo will release anything new. Remember, the DS lasted 7 years before the 3DS came along, and is still selling.
+Bravely default, Persona Q & Smash coming up

Nintendo is selling refurbished 3DS's for a little under 130.

I don't want to bash the wii u, but the sale for the wii u are really poor, i don't think it's a flop yet, but close and the game is number 6 on amazon now btw.

I recommend 3ds XL if you are worried about battery life. It's like 8.5 hours instead of 3... Go for it!
I doubt they're coming out with a new handheld so soon, considering the DS was the main hh console for 5 years and was supported for 7.
I think he means a new DS rather than a complete new handheld. You have to admit, there's a crap ton of different kinds.

Totally worth it, but if you're budget conscious l'd definitely recommend getting the 2DS.
3DS XL is definitely worth the experience not only for 3D, but also screen size, it makes a huge difference.

lf you're interested in a lot of games for 3DS, l don't see why not get it!

go for a 2ds if you dont mind its clunky look, the 3d gave me a headache for the first month, and still does for the first couple minutes.
but i say its totally worth it, the games are amazing, fire emblem awakening and pokemon XY are ABSOLUTE must-plays. Especially FE:A, i dont think ive clocked so many hours into a handheld game since friends of mineral town. The two harvest moons (if youre into that) are also REALLY good (a new beginning and rune factory, tale of two towns isnt that great) and Ocarina of Time was reskinned beautifully and uses a lot of the features the 3DS has to offer (ex aiming by tilting your 3DS)
Also, AC:NL is good for some relaxing fun. Still playing it off and on since it's release (if you do get this one+the 2/3DS i recommend getting a direct download from the eshop so you can switch between two games without having to take out a cartridge! ac:nl is a good game to play between stressful battles.)
so maybe i'm biased because im a huge fan of a lot of 3DS games, but yes, it's worth it!

Battery Life is still horrid. Think if the games are worth it. I like Dual Destinies but I'll settle for youtube videos of it. Pokemon is not a strong enough incentive enough to buy a system in my opinion.
