Xenon, Drk, or f/p

So after i came back from about a half a year break, i realized that xenons suck hard. Their dmg output seems pretty low for the amount of funding put in. like i'm hitting 4-5m with snipe with around a 650k range. So I am considering trading my equips to become a drk or f/p. Since I have never played either of the two classes, I am not well versed in their maximal capabilities. I have looked at videos and read some threads, but i'm still very unclear on which excels with the same funding.
for example, I watched a video on drks and they just spam that gungnir move which hits pretty fast actually, but i feel like at certain bosses it is not viable.
Also, f/ps seem to have a plethora of combos and moves to use.
However, drks also have that move that basically doubles their range.
Basically, I just want some arguments from the basil community about which to play so I can decide better for myself.
Thank you all i advance for the input. God bless america and canada and Africa and nigeria and china and antarctica and heaven

Too lazy to actually pull up the numbers. Here's the damage formula, you can do the math yourself.

Weapon Multiplier * (Primary Stat * 4 + Secondary Stat)* ATT/100
Yes. Xenons benefit more than any other class from set effects and 5 star Tyrants. In terms of range/meso spent efficiency, you're just at the start of the peak.

You are weak because you're at the beginning of the funding curve. 5 M per primary line of snipe is about 40 M dps. Complete your Gollux set and 5 star Tyrants, get some % att, and your range will go above 1 M.
Oh, does it get easier from now to gain more range?
yea my good friend was telling me about how easy it is for drks to get insane ranges due to that move. but is gungnir really reliable? isnt your dmg basically solely based on that? is there a way to get it so that you can spam gungnir all day erday?
I think you need 50% buff duration for that, not 100% sure though, never played drk. To get 50% you can get ~30% from inner ability, 15% from mechanic lv 100 character card and i think one of the traits give you 1% per 10 lvs.

DrK > F/p > Xenon post nerf
Drks get cross surge now, which can raise your range by 30k unfunded. My buddies got a 200k range, and cross surge brings his range up 60k (140k->200k). They get really good damage unfunded, and even better funded.
F/ps are strong, but they are slow moving, and their 3rd job is hell. Back when lumis used to take me 3 mpe runs to get from 90-100, it took me 8 1/2 mpe runs to get to 100 from 90(This was pre-nerf).
Xenons are really for the mobility IMO. Now that they were nerfed theyre really weak unless funded, in which case they're very strong.

@Jwoy I'm 99% sure he probably had Scrolled + atleast 5 star tyrants, RA equips(+ scrolled wep), and gollux stuff
You should REALLY get to know both classes well before you actually choose.

Xenons don't suck that much, but well, DrKs can spam Gungnir when a certain buff is used, they get double damage increase yes, they get the famous HB that only they own and a nice attack for training, F/P Mages raise their damage with DoT stacks, full-hit the monsters without too much to worry due to elemental reset and thus they don't seem as spammy as they look.
