Am I the only one ready for disappointment?
This year, we intend to continue to improve the Maple experience. We know some of you are concerned that the game has become too pay-to-win. So with this latest update, you will see our efforts to address this concern with:
A big drop rate increase for Master Craftsman's Cube and Meister's Cubes. These cubes will now drop much more frequently from a wide variety of popular bosses so you can get Cubes much more easily than before.
A big rate increase of the rank-up rates for all craftable and purchasable Cubes. Now your chance of ranking up to Epic, Unique and Legendary is higher than ever before.
I'm expecting an increase from 0.0001% to 0.0002% (OMG THEY DOUBLED IT?)

Not everyone has drop rate equips.
I'm not being pessimistic, but you're being way too optimistic.
I'm hoping they increase the drop rate from mobs too around the rate of nebulite boxes now. I get those fairly regularly (1-2 a week just doing attendance kind of events).
I'm more concerned with the potential rank upgrade increase. I'm hoping it's as significant as the jump they did in RED.
well the tier up rate is much much higher than .0001%, sooo.. o.o
get over it, i'd be totally okay with NO cubes dropping from bosses. any increase is still nice. I dont think it should be super high to get unique -> leg anyways

@LordofSky that's what I'm almost sure they do , make us think they changed it when they really didn't.
I'm not really looking forward to it either. Unless you have like a MINIMAL 10% of getting a cube from normal zakum, then maybe.
However, case and point, their words feel like a placebo claim to get players to believe the droprate went higher, when in reality nothing changed.

Was certainly nice of them to increase the black and red cubes obtainable from reward shop to 5 per month. Am satisfied. Guess we will find out this miracle time to see whether the rates have really improved like they said it would.
Now if only they would let me transfer my own equips within my account without needing to use SoK and PSoK that certainly would be spectacular.
