Will maple shut down?

Since ms2 is coming along now (I don't know when it's arriving to gms) is nexon going to shut down maplestory?

I'm just saying it was a possibility. If anything, they could've made a huge profit. I would be more than happy to throw money at them if they released the MMO version of Kart Rider.

Kart Rider was shut down during beta. Nobody had a chance to give them money because there was no cash shop available. It makes no sense at all to have shut it down because they make millions from Kart Rider in other countries. The only reason there weren't many beta testers is because Nexon didn't bother to advertise the game at all.
For some reason they decided to make Kart Rider a horrible Facebook and iOS game which isn't nearly as profitable as it could've been as an MMO. It could even dethrone Mario Kart as the best racing game out there if Nexon just gave it a chance. It's one of the worst business decisions I've ever seen.

Man I loved kart rider. And you know what's sad, years later I went to Nexon's office in El Segundo and they still had Kart Rider things in the lobby, video on the tv screen, posters, etc. Like what the heck, just bring it back They even mentioned they were going to bring it back, but we got that crappy facebook cop out.

No, they have two different development teams. Both games will continue to receive updates. Only MS1 will shut down is if they feel they are not making enough money. Don't worry they are still making plenty of money so no reason to shut down anytime soon. Hope that helped.
