What would compel them to buy a Microsoft X-Box 360? Sony PS3 is where it's at. I mean, even the Wii is better than a 360. Sure it ain't relevant anymore, but damn, fudge that Failbox. Enjoy yo FPSers and Fable 'cuz dat's all you gonna get.

So what if all someone wants are shooters and Fable? Then maybe they would get an Xbox. That's what would compel them.

@mastercheeze: yea but paying 60$ is like a game there, so if you can buy a new game, you can buy live, let alone those 3 year ones kick ass (it's limited)
Sorry but if i want to play an RPG I would rather play it on a 360 than a PS3. I have played RPG's on both and it is better on the 360 by far. Not as choppy and i feel as though it loads faster.
Also, there is this cool game called Halo that Xbox has. I don't know if you have heard of it. But its pretty good.
D'OOOOOOOOOOOH, HO HO HO! Another FPS? Sounds like a blast! Y'know, Apple could've bought Halo in the beginning; imagine how that would've been.
Ps3? We're talking about the same system made by Sony right? The one that was hacked? The one who's outdated servers and incompetent sysadmins allowed a trivial sql injection to escalate to full-scale takeover? The one who failed to fix the issue and got hacked twice more from the same exploit? That Ps3?

Keep your piece mate, if you want your credit info being jacked that easy go for it, you almost have to be a masochist to touch that nightmare.
Whoah, dude, chill out. So you read an article on Gizmodo or something and now you know how PSN got hacked. I'll just keep buying PSN cards on Amazon and getting the activation codes right on the spot. You see, you buy a card, then you realize you have $60 extra for not having to pay for online, and then you spend another $60 for that Sony dolla or a game.

WRONG! You lose. Pc is the best. Even though its not a console.

>OP thinks the Wii is better than the 360
>OP thinks the only good games for the 360 are FPS game
>implying that most 360 FPS games are good
>Not even mentioning PCs, which are the master race.

I hear the Xbox1080 will be a ball and the PS4 will be a triangle so you can argue over the differences more.
Buy both xbox 360 and ps3. Problem solved,
So you can play your PS3 for its better exclusives and use the 360 as an expensive door stop? Get outta here with that thinking!

Eh, I know a snotty little kid who owns a 64 inch plasma because he wouldn't shut up until his dad bought it for him and owns probably every game system known to man. He doesn't use anything except his laptop, 64 inch plasma, and xbox 360.

You don't need to try so hard to incite a flame war on Basilmarket. All you had to say was "PS3>360" and that would've been good enough.
Don't most kids usually buy more than one game system?

Anyways, I'm not really into console gaming so I can't offer much input. I bought a 360 a couple years back and lent it to my friend for the past year. Apparently it got the "red ring of death."
Mmhmm! Kids that spend their money on both a PS3 and Wii get the best of both worlds. Keep the 360s to the jocks so they can play their Tinactin Maddens and NBA Fifa 2K10s.
