What atk should I stop making my engaw?
Hello Basil,
I plan to make an engaw with xxx amount of attack to whitescroll/50%
Yes, I am aware that a VIP bow is better as well as the future 130 and 140; however, I don't like the aesthetics of the VIP bow and the 130 will only be 5 atk difference from the 120 (from looking at the pattern). 140 will be nearly impossible to get so I don't want to think about that.
What i'm wondering about is when should I start scrolling it.
Obviously, I'd be using the maker skill and making +3 (with diamond) and +-5 (with crystal)
If 105 is base, and 108 is with diamond, how high should I be looking for the crystal to work. Of course the higher the better, but in all likelihood, I won't get a +5 from the crystal on the first try. Maybe start scrolling at 110+ atk?
What do you say?
Edit: Yes, I do have the funds... I'm not [b]that[/b] rich but I can get by.

Shhh the Reverse Alchupiz is the sexiest weapon in the game.
I thought I'd play my bowmaster forever. Turns out I'm in the process of quitting it.
Think twice about Reverse equips. (My 144Att Engaw will rot with 1 level left on it, as well as my 2Line Unique Reverse shoes)

I agree, we're one of the slowest solo-leveling training classes [B]IN MY OPINION[/B] so we do require more patience.
In other news, I'm very excited of the roll-back for Khaini because although I have to go... relearn maker3 and buy 45 more pots... I won't have to deal with selling that poorly made egnaw I made earlier.

I really reccommend you stick to making "tradeable" bows because even if you fail to scroll it you can still sell it back, or if you ever decide you wanna fund another class you always have the option to sell your bow and do so.

As I said earlier, I do have the funding. So if I hit something like your 111 (hopefully), I'll be very happy with my results. I had the opportunity to buy japanesebm's bow which was a perfect vip for 2.8bil, but declined in the end because I wanted an engaw. I like how it "somehow" emphasizes bm pride as well as "it's not tradeable so don't quit" motivation-ish. I mean don't get me wrong, VIP would be clearly the best idea, but a person like me (who's 20 in college) should quit if I can't enjoy the game to what class I'm playing =] It's like a do or die puwaha ~

I seriously shed a tear for you...but like someone else said just scroll 3-4 now then do the rest later
By using adv diamond and inter black crystal i had a good start with my bow, (i think 109 maybe? cant really remember =P) but i got 4/7 50% to work after that without being godly funded and buying w/s. if your planning to get anything after it, this will do until the higher level bows come out, you should try for an overall attack of 130+, if your lucky you might get a 141 u/h one like me =P.
Or you could keep making til you get a 3 lined one, and screw what the start off attack is, as at the end of the day the potential will probably help more =].
My engaw is 131atk 1 slot left fully maxed and unhammered :O It's only two lines thoughIt's going to be my 2nd to last bow. XD The next one I make will be my endgame. Good luck on your bow KHAINI FTW >

stimulator only avoids you getting under-average attack, tho the black crystals can make you lose the bonus of the diamonds, so worst case, you'd end up with a completely average engaw
if you're 50%+WSing an engaw, i'd say go all the way. there's not much value to making a reverse weapon if you do not perfect scroll it. plus, you don't need to get all the scrolls now. get 3-4 to work for now, and you can think on the rest later. 3-4 50% gives you a pretty decent weapon for everyday training and bossing, which can only get better from future scrollings and leveling up.

No it's +3 max if you get it advanced. Also make sure it's 3 line before making it perfect.
It's +/- 5 if you get it advanced
