Private channels

As I have experienced and you too, because there is only one private channel, (evol, DIPQ, emp...) Everyone in there is to laggy to do anything on big events. I ask to go back to the simple system of channels 1-20 (or 19) for parties because the number of people on private channels is to dang much

^ I'm right with you on that one. Can't even have a good 10 minutes in DIPQ before getting kicked and all my EXP cards go to waste.

Ah, about the private channel thing... I figured. I was hoping for a different alternative lol. I hope they can up the server's capacities soon because it's pretty awful the way it is right now.

There is one private channel per server. Sometimes it crashes and everybody gets kicked out of DI/Evo, and nobody can get back into the lobby.

Agreed.

On a side note, does anyone know how servers are actually setup and split and how the individual channels as well as private channels work? I've been wondering about that for a long time now, ever since I learned on my first day of Mapling that worlds (until GAZED) couldn't interact with each other. I feel like each world is separated by hardware and that they don't really interact with each other which sets the boundary on the worlds. And then the channels themselves are just "partitions," if you will, within each set of servers for a world. How, then, does a private channel work? Is it like a hidden Channel 21? And would it be more efficient to just host instanced maps within the same channel as they do with like Manon and Griffey during Explorer 4th job advancements?
