Good news everyone

http://orangemushroom.net/2016/03/17/kmst-ver-1-2-030-job-balancing/

The relatively unused skill Battleship Bomber has been changed into an installed summon skill.

-Summon Crew: an error where crew members would occasionally disappear even though time was remaining has been fixed
-Octo Quarterdeck: cast action delay has been decreased
-Battleship Bomber: Summon one of the Nautilus’ crew members on a battleship for a 20 seconds, each bomb shot will deal damage 3 times on up to 6 enemies. You can have up to 2 summoned at one time. Battleship Bomber’s skill level will be linked to Crew Commandership’s skill level (no longer Rapid Fire). There is a cooldown of 30 seconds.
Dauntless: 275% damage, normal attack speed, normal range
Blackbark: 445% damage, slow attack speed, normal range
Shulynch: 150% damage, fast attack speed, short range
Jonathan: 235% damage, normal attack speed, long range
-Battleship Nautilus: in addition to existing effects, Nautilus will now decrease Battleship Bomber’s cooldown when used
-Counter Attack: in addition to existing effects, Counter Attack now passively decreases damage taken by 15%
-Unwearying Nectar: HP boost has been decreased from 40% to 15%, in addition to existing effects Unwearying Nectar will now increase your maximum damage cap by 10% and critical rate by 10% while active

In summary: More summons, more Critical rate and a cap boost for more damage. Less HP, but more tanking.
My only complaint is that the new summon has even less of a duration than Octo-cannon.

@galbatore Yup at times Broadside was fun to use, and even in some better. But now that Easton got faster, and stronger the usefulness of it decreased even more so.

But yes its good that they're making it so our skills dont overlap each other, we now have a clear cut set for bossing/mobbing being centered around a summon based class.

It's a bit of a shame because I actually really liked Broadside. But, I understand that it was a bit of a superfluous skill - especially after Nexon hack-and-slashed their way through instant kill effects - Easton being the top cut heavy-hitting mobskill and Rapid Fire faring on bosses. I will miss sitting, like a complete chicken, one one end of the map as bouncing bombs blatter enemies on the other side of it, though.

At least they kept they kept the hella satisfying sound effects, though. <3 What can I say, I'm a man of simple tastes!

This'll be good for training a corsair to job switch to cannoneer. Map control with turrets is always the best.

The duration of the summon is 20sec and cool down is 30. Nautilus will help it reduce the cool down time, however unless you have cooldown reducers, it will be hard to sustain 2 summons all the time. But it is possible.

Also heres a video on the battleship bomber summon. Its not the best map to test it, but it showcases some of the different ranges. and how it looks
