I've never had any lag issue with event hall, even with using a super junky laptop.
However, it wasn't until some patch recently where I can't enter at all without maple freezing.
It's been like this for over a month for me at this point. You would think that optimizing things such as lag/freezing/disconnecting/server delay would be top priority before continuing to update the game.

Some of my characters lag, some of them lag less, some of them don't lag at all. Change the time of day and the amount of lag changes between characters. Change channels and on occasion the lag is different again.

The game is just poorly coded, they don't optimize anything and nexonNA tries to force you to make new characters as their "fix" because newly created characters seem to have less issues with lag.

@meiguihua: I know what you are trying to say but don't you think plenty of players already complaint about it a while ago? The lag exist for a long time already, over a year but they fixed it once. Then during the Maple Anniversary we had the lag again (which was months ago), the Admin was in town, so we had town lags.

I told the GM about it, but instead of fixing the lag issue caused by Admin, they decided to move it into the small map Event Hall. All they did was moving the 'lag' from town to Event Hall.

While not every player has this issue, but too many players do. Then Halloween patch started (2 months ago) and more players got affected by the event hall lag on top of the players who already lagged. Pretty sure many players already complaint about it. What did Nexon do about it?

Remove Event Hell and delete all those NPCs and replace them with event icons. I don't think icons lag anything, dood.

leave event hall as is, and actually fix servers

I was thinking gaga is pretty useless, he hasn't been hosting events except Easter. So basically keep him out of event hall. And keep event related npc in event hall and the maple admin.

You're basically saying to get a monster truck because the roads are so poorly maintained.

You saying Maple, specifically the event hall, is more demanding than games such as Overwatch?

@hualicious: If they see how many people lag in event hall, they just might change it like how they brought Cassandra out.

I have asked Nexon about the event hall lag already, they don't have any issues on their end and say it's players' issue. I gave them a suggestion to disable Admin and let us players to confirm whether we still lag or not. They thank me for that suggestion and will pass it on.

I doubt they will do anything at all regarding to this lag sadly.
