I can imagine it now 50 spell traces and extended 2x exp this weekend only to lag out and then be ddos'd . And with a message saying: "Oh and remember to buy, nx"...

The character slot is not compensation. It was supposed to be included in the original patch.
I don't think we'll get any compensation for this. If we do, I'm guessing it'll only be spell traces.

my guess is no compensation, i wouldnt mind 2x starting after maintence tho, since I really only have today and tomorrow to get to 200.
