Faster Leveling
I was thinking of making an I/L, then I thought what if I made a Bishop because they level faster since they have HS then at level 100 change class to I/L, my question is would it work? and would it be faster?

1-100 on any class is extremely fast. I also doubt being a cleric/priest will be faster than i/l mage in terms of training.

mmhm. too bad he'd probably quit before he reached 100 on a priest, its actually much slower 1-100 on a priest than almost any class

Cleric is probably easier to level in 2nd job than I/L because Dead Scarecrows were un-nerfed, and Heal can access more platforms at a time than Thunderbolt.
I would say if you want an I/L at all you should go with all the way, since I'd rather take a little bit longer to level to 101 than pay 10m.
I/L mobbing better in 2nd job by a lot but in 3rd we like even out cause even tho ice strike better than shining ray you get hs
