Nexon openly Supporting hackers?

They didn't patch familiar hack or android dcing. Instead they:
Are giving daily x2...jeez, wonder what LHC is going to look like then >_>
Opening GT...now you get x2 and your own private map to hide from GMs!
Giving daily hot time...yeah those town maps sure aren't going to get crashed daily at 4:30.
Gg Nexon.

What's YOUR opinion? Did Nexon done goof?

I don't think they can make a patch and hope it works out of thin air.
Calm your cookies.
And no, you have to be a nutcase to think they support hackers. Then all those measures to protect your account was all a waste.
GT isn't that great imo :V

Also, Nexon just got back from vacation, they'll probably have it fixed next week
Nexon has a 52 week vacation yearly.
Well, you could always just party the hackers if you're that desperate for a training spot as most of them do want the extra exp in LHC. If it wasn't for hackers the meso would still have a better value. Right now I'm seeing people make deals in nx when they used to do it in mesos and possibly ws. Also, theres a big difference between a moron and a hacker. What you described was a moron. Most hackers don't dc/crash people unless it benefits them and like I said before they would really be happy to invite you to parties in LHC.
Sure they could do that, but that brings up a problem for people who want to remain completely legitimate.
Truth be told, most of the familiar hackers, or DC hackers are not hackers at all. They're just all Script Kiddies. How much of a brain does it take to copy and paste something? So yea, as far as I'm concerned, the hackers in maplestory are morons & Script kiddies. They're not actual hackers.
Theres also more than one type of hacker. Think about all the people that lost there accounts, or got their accounts locked. There's recently been a hack out there that takes advantage of a small flaw in nexon's security to hack a lot of accounts.
Even now there are map crashers in Bera that are DCing everyone in FM. Theres around 2 people in ch1 fm.
Hackers affect our gameplay, which affects Nexon's chances of getting money.
A company would not support people who are making them lose money.
The GT maps might be a trap to lure the hackers
then they can just monitor the GT maps
You're overthinking it sadly. This is Nexon.
Disable Familiars = Problem solved..
its not like we've ever used them since they got out..
they are useless imo.
I find them quite useful actually.
I don't use it for the damage or anything but the extra stuff like the drop rate increase and healing MP/HP are really useful Not to mention the extra stats.

Its a trap.

So, you think that Nexon 1)knows about the current hacking problems 2)subsequently decided to release 2x every day, GT, and hot time, because of the hackers?
That server maintenance was SCHEDULED. These events would have happened REGARDLESS of any sort of hacking problems.

Guys its not like they can just go there, press a few magic keys, and BOOM hack is patched. They actually have to think of ways to stop it without affecting to much people.
It actually is that easy Abby.
Actually, GMs patrol mini dungeons, party quests and other posibly private training areas because it'a most likely to find hackers there hiding
Well they're doing a poor job at it.

That's true. Boters rarely go into mini dungeons for this reason. And if you complain about nexon don't play the game

@SharpAceX: Hackers affect our gameplay. How? THey take over LHC, Map Crash us in FM, DC us for fun, hack us and take our stuff, etc etc. As more of this happens people start to quit, from not being able to train and DCing all time, and just plan getting hacked. When people quit, it's potential profit lost for Nexon. The people that quit stop buying NX, and what happens? Nexon loses money.

It Ruins the game, as it makes it harder for legit people to train and enjoy the game.

I don't know about the game but I'm sure solving this isn't as hard in development terms.

It's funny because you're right.
It's sad because you're going to get suspended for making this thread. To Basil mods, stating facts about what hackers already do is the same as condoning hacking.
Ruled over by number 4!
@Alpine: Golden Temple. I can't believe they're opening it without patching the hack.
