What is currently the strongest adventurer class?
Just got my Blaze Wizard to 120 and got 2 peridots / 5 peridots within 10 minutes - did the drop rate increase?
I just picked this game up like a week ago after quite some time and Ive heard a lot has changed to the adventurers, which class is the strongest?
Before you suggest anything, I would like the class to be easy/fun/fast to grind with (basically a mobility skill and a good mobbing skill) and also have a good endgame.
Some of the classes I'm leaning towards are Shadowers/Heros/I.L ArM
*didn't know where to put this thread so if I put it in the wrong section MB.

@cheapstuff: so what your saying is that to become an average shad you need more funding then to become an average hero, or any other explorer for that fact?
@calebheads: wanna explain why?
Don't make a hero.
@mark24: Since you have your own shad and warrior class, which is better in terms of grinding fast/fun through 50-120
and also which is best endgame?
idk, i get bored easy. just play what you like or try them all. when you get godly and the endgame numbers matter to you, you can always just switch pretty easily.
shadower do not require alot of funding lol. that changed since they got revamped. they actually require little funding when compared most the other explorer.
%luck and dags are more expensive but you can find good deals. i once bought 15%luck ears for like 500mil back in kradia.
Lol Daggers and khanjars are probably one of the most expensive items (not comparing to new ones) and 15% luck earring usually goes around for 1.2b+
Like you said "you can find good deals" that can happen to any item not just %luck and daggers lol
I can have a good friend giving me all these "Pro" Shadower equips that doesn't mean its easy to fund for everyone.
And don't forget Shadowers require a lot of funding -.- and i mean a lot
@Miirag3: I haven't took the time to get Vampire, but from what I heard, it's mostly used for drain to heal, I can't say if it's a good mobbing skill or not
@Miirag3: OK maybe not 2nd job, but for 3rd job the mobbing is terrible, your only "real" mobbing skill is Phase Dash, which is a rush skill, but the thing about it is that its really slow and has a long delay, you could use meso explosion to mob, but that would take some time to set up and some control when blowing up the right mesos when the monster nearby. Don't come back complaining after I warned you.
Would the UA skill VAmpire suffice?

Edit: Here's a thread that someone posted a few days ago
3rd job training after the thief revamp is terrible compared to pre-revamp training
@mark24: Im already rolled in Renegade, currently getting my peridots (3more) on my blaze wizard
@miirag3 i am remaking my shadower in scania. you should make one too.
Be warned that 2nd job (bandit) and 3rd job (chief bandit) are hell for shadower
How are they hell? don't they have a mobility skill as a dit (fj) and also a mobbing skills (steal)?
@XtraCannon: But buccs are even slower then dits second job, no? Also do they even have a mobility skill?
Ummm if your a funded or Decent Funded BUCC, you hit 1-2m in 1-3 seconds... Just saying...
@Olympus: lmfaoooooo.
Corsair
Currently the strongest adventurer classes are Dark Knights (spearman), Bowmasters (hunter) and Night Lords (sin), in that order. Once they get their hyper skills, they'll be able to outdamage even newer classes such as Kaisers.
have you played on a dark knight? hero out damages all warriors after hyper skills even with us getting hyper skills. but i would personally say paladins just because they work so well with UA and their hypers skills give them a real damage boost
Be warned that 2nd job (bandit) and 3rd job (chief bandit) are hell for shadower
Yeah I'm going shadower, the warrior tree seems to get boring.
Also MM's seem squishy, correct me if Im wrong, and Im not the xbow type of guy. lol
Marksmen, after Hyper Skills. http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=62432&title=Summarized%20%/s%20List
Of course, that chart is how much % damage they can deal per second, based off of skills. This does not take into account funding, range differences, or anything of the sort.
I'm pretty sure it's Shadower, with Corsair just trailing behind for now. Obviously everything changes with HS and cap removal, but for now let's stick with what we have.
@cccurrified: thanks for that, really helped me. so far Im about to finalize my decision on shadowers, they don't seem that squishy, have iframes, and are fun. IMO Heros are easy, and get boring.
For a fact that there's at least 3 Marbas-helmeted mages in here, I nearly thought that you all are the same person.
Shadowers actually need quite a bit of funds to considered as 'strong'. Heroes are currently the strongest out of the 3 explorer warriors. I/ls are considerably on par with F/ps, that depends on where your funds sit on.
If I have to choose out of those 3, I'd say go with a Hero: Strong, decent survivability, nice damage (don't compare yourself to a DSlayer or a Kaiser though), 2h-swords has a nice multiplier, 1h-sword + shield isn't that bad as well. Only thing about Heroes that irks me a little is that you have to get Adv Combat Orders skillbook from Zak for 4th job, or you can buy it from FM (300mil or less, depending on the nx rates for a SoK) - I recommend getting into a guild that would do regular boss runs. However to some people, the prequests for zak is hard (to be specific, the jump quest). Lol.
Personally, whenever I get the time, I am quite interested in making a 2h-axe sader.
