It's mostly slow-paced due to the whole arc happening in under 5 days, but its better then the bs pacing of S1.

I hear @Plenair: loves SAO. I told him it wasn't all that good and he just flipped.

The first half of SAO was good. Then I feel the whole romance thing made it boring.
RN SAO 2 is all action which is what I liked about SAO.
Soo, if you like the action part of SAO go for SAO 2. Plus liking the plot so far.

It's better than the first season by far. It's still pretty pathetic, some of the scenes and the romance are not funny at all. The only thing keeping me watching is the action is good
The second season has been pretty boring aside from like...two episodes

Second season looks promising, but I just don't hope that they don't rush it ofc.

Give it a try. I found the first season of SAo to be decent, but second season got me a little into it.
