Still cannot run MapleStory in Windows 8
ummm so a friend of mine whos never played would like to play but they cant get the game running
if they open it from the game launcher exe once they login the game crashes and if they use the nexon launcher it crashes at channel select
they cant launch from website because of this silly internet filter blocking the website
that filter might have something to do with it not running? but it could just be windows 8 because theres been a lot of issues in the past with maple and win8
also they dont get an error code when it crashes it just does

Allow Maplestory.exe and gamelauncher in your firewall. Run gamelauncher as admin
The case is definitely not with Windows 8 or Windows 8.1
so in this case check the firewall settings.
Run as admin/check firewall/av settings.
