Need help removing fish bone out of throat

Hi guys, while i was eating dinner my mom made some fish and apparently i got a piece with a bone in it... its stuck on the right side of my throat it feels like. Is there any way to treat it? I tried looking up remedies online. My mom is one of those asian people that say you can devour the bones like what the heck. Also, the bone is pretty small but it bothers me. My breathing is fine and all but it still hurts. Will it leave a infection if not treated? Thanks.
