Berserk First Impressions?
Episode 1 of the new Berserk series just aired. As excited as I was, I'm not sure how I feel about it.
-Visually, it looks like a medieval Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
-The music reminds me of Sword Art Online
-The CG fight scenes were kinda hard to follow and (in my opinion) not very well shot at all
-I've always watched Berserk in English so hearing the Japanese cast is super weird. Dunno if I can get used to that...
-Casca is white in this series? o-0
I dunno guys. I liked it, but it feels so gosh darn weird! What was everyone else's opinion?

from what i've seen, from the PVs and the OP, it'll probably be incredibly disappointing

it looked like a ps2 cutscene; i half expected a loading screen while watching it
why was isidro there?? why are they skipping like two arcs?? why is casca white??
this makes me so sad
I love everything about Berserk. But that was a terrible first episode. I agree that the scenes were hard to follow. There were a lot of fast pans and weird angles that were disorienting. The CGI is some of the worst I've ever seen. Voices are fine I guess. Action was pretty eh for Berserk standards.
I don't have many positive things to say about it, honestly. My hype died shortly after I started the episode
