which hat to use
Recently I saw a post about chaos root abyss hats being like scarlet items, so adding to the highest set. For me that would be CRA set, and as the pirate hat is ugly af I was wondering if it is a good idea to use for example chaos vellum hat, considering i am a xenon i would benefit from 3 stats instead of 2, which might be a good thing when enhancing too?
Can anyone confirm this?
Also I am rocking a scarlet shoulder, Is there any pottable ring or codex which would give me a good set effect??

@morrie2: It should count towards your highest leveled set that has a helmet. If you have SW or alien accessories then the hat might count for those instead since they are higher leveled than CRA. CRA helmet gives +40 to two stats, so that's +80 if you're a xenon. chaos vellum apparently gives +23 all, so that's only +69 for xenons. I don't know how enhancements will affect the final stats, but judging only on clean stats the CRA is still better. Perhaps after a lot of enhancements the stats you get in all three will eventually be better.
I quite like the CRA pirate hat though.

if you're using a scarlet shoulder, that's one hell of a waste cuz iunno any sets that have shoulders cept for maybe emp or the ardent set.
You should just anvil it to a hat you like :o
