Nightlord

No shadow dodge

Since NL has no shadow dodge (night walker skill that pushes you back) do you guys find it harder to dodge things as a Night Lord such as rocks from magnus, vellum, etc?

My first characters that I tested Cvel on would be the mage characters. I found that characters with teleport had the leisure of just dodging tails without stun rocks really impeding them since they could just totally ignore them.

Characters such as Night lord and basically every other job that's not like eunwol that has a backstep or some form of "teleport" mobility have to just move early and prepare ahead of time so stun rocks never get in the way.

Basically...
Characters with teleport can ignore stun rocks can focus more on tails.
Characters with flash jump can ignore tails and focus more on stun rocks.

Obviously not actually "ignoring" them ^ but anyone who does chaos vellum on multiple characters will know what I mean.

As for hard magnus, night lords have dark sight and they can flash jump with dark sight. Unless you are just super super super bad at hard magnus, I don't see dying to be a real problem for either NW or NL.

@MrrSnuggles If anything, shadow dodge is more useful for things like gollux, dodging the breath/hands.

both classes can dark sight to dodge mag meteor, vellum rocks, pierre hats, etc. if you have good control, having shadow dodge just adds an extra layer flashiness to your arsenal.

if you have bad control, your gonna die with or without shadow dodge.
