Do these singers sound alike?
My friend says they don't... But I think they sound like the same person. I want more opinions.

And skip to 0:22 on this one.
Edit: Can't you guys seriously just tell me if you think the singers sound alike?
Who cares if you think the songs are terrible? No one.

@WizMystery: Night!
@Mustang823: Finally someone who thinks they sound the same. xD
@WizMystery: If you listen to those singers and like them, then just PM me if you want to talk about stuff. This troll can't follow us into PMs.
ok both of you fails, if you want me to shutup dont come back, and who tried to be funny?
This is my thread. I can hang out in it if I want to. Jesus. And I want Wiz here now. Not you.
DUDE u wont stop can you just shut up? (not talk) < if u dont understand
dont come back to what im saying can you?
Okay, seriously. Just shut up and leave. You're not funny.
@WizMystery: You can contribute more if you listen to those singers I linked.
@WizMystery: The only even slightly metalish Israeli band I've heard of is Syngergia. Song from them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iuiVoQ4C-I
Here are the pages of some singers I like.
http://www.youtube.com/user/LiorNarkisOfficial
http://www.youtube.com/user/IdanYanivOfficial
http://www.youtube.com/user/DuduAharonOfficiaI
http://www.youtube.com/user/MoshePeretzOfficial (You can find more songs for him by just searching. His channel kinda sucks.)
http://www.youtube.com/user/EyalGolanOfficial
http://www.youtube.com/user/LiranAvivOfficial
Dor Daniel sadly doesn't have a channel. I guess he's not popular enough. But the album he released in April is great. Here's a song from it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Di3676d9Is
There you go. That should keep you occupied for a while.
Edit: Oh, and here's the channel of an Israeli record company. They have good stuff. http://www.youtube.com/user/HeliconRecords
@MzMegs I'm looking some stuff up at the moment.
I could link you to the official channels of some singers if you would like.
Remember guys: Best way to end a conversation is by not replying.
@WizMystery: Well for that you'd have to be a listener of Israeli music, like the awesome CannedHeat. Just go to those videos on YouTube and click around on the related videos until you find stuff you want to talk about.
why should i leave? did i say somthing to u? btw nice body and i didnt mean that all americans are fat ^_^. it got me mad because they said that those songs are lame ans such so i thought i can say whatever i want too. dont see why u got so mad
I'm not really angry. I just don't want people who can cause things posting in my thread. So would you be kind enough to please leave and take Wiz with you?
If you read the very last sentence of my rant, you'll notice I have. And therefore belong here.
Okay, you've contributed. But if you're not going to talk to me about Israeli music, then you no longer have a place here. 2ndWorld also no longer has a place here.
Oh man, "Mima'amakim" was my favorite out of that album. My mom got the CD last time she visited Israel.
Omfg. Mima'amakim was my favorite song for a long time. I spent a few weeks writing down the words and trying to memorize them. <3 I just loved that song to pieces.
@WizMystery: You didn't even have to post in this thread in the first place. You have not at all contributed to the original purpose of this thread. So if you're not going to, then get out of here.
Slightly similar, but it's definitely possible that they're different people.
They are different people. xD I just think they could be twins or something (I know they aren't, but still). Singer #1's name is Shir Levi and singer #2's name is Daniel Ben Haim.
@2ndWorld: I like how you think that's some brilliant comeback. Look, I'm not even going to play the little Egalitarian and just come out and say that I am smarter than you, and I'm American. This is going to be obvious in about 3, 2, 1...
I'm just going to go out on a limb here.
If you hate Americans so much, tell me, just tell me, why are you conversing on an American-populated site about an American-populated version of a game that you happen to play? Do you enjoy knocking down every American you come into contact with? Hey, what if I was Canadian? Or Mexican? Or just about any other nationality that comes to talk on this site? You would be wrong. And Stupid.
Get rid of your pretensions. You aren't some hot shot. We're the reason you exist anyway, we're the ones that are supporting your country and turning it away from complete turmoil. Israel's existance is supported by the majority of Americans, who are really stupid only in their mass generalizations of the Arab people. And that alone is the major cause of the support of your state, which you seem to personally take for granted. So tell me. If we Americans were to come across, oh I don't know, a bullcrap arrogant statement such as yours, wouldn't you think we would make yet another generalization that all Israeli people are that way out of our own stupor? Oh wait... THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE DOING. You are just about as stupid as you claim us to be, possibly even more stupid. Age isn't even an excuse here, as the state of ignorance you're in is of the grandest scale. Do yourself a favor and open your eyes, keeping them closed is doing no good to the name of your country.
Oh by the way the two singers are only similar in their accents. I can tell a slight difference in that the first one sounds like he has a cold.
Just get the heck out of my thread, please. You have NO place here.
@CannedHeat: I actually just started listening to Israeli music for the first time a little over a year ago. The Idan Raichel Project is really what got me into it.
@CannedHeat: I absolutely adore Israeli music. It makes me sad to see how many people don't like it. How could they not like it?
I never actually thought the nejineji stuff was Indian. I didn't even really think about it at all. I just thought it was meant to sound Indian.
In the original first link, the singer has a higher pitched voice. Personally, I prefer that link over the first one. They both still talk about a woman though, which is sort of the archetype of generic Israeli songs. I grew up in Israel up until I was 7 and I remember a lot of Sarit Hadad and Eyal Golan. That's the music I liked when I was younger.
Also, I read over the posts in this thread and I came across Dana International. The woman singing is a guy, by the way. Dana won Eurovision in 1998 or 1999. And the Indian dialect they're speaking? Total BS, nothing close to Hindi, Marathi, or any other dialect. I had a CD with this song once.
Yeah, I know about a lot of Israeli singers. I don't like the female singers; too whiney. But I love singers like Lior Narkis, Dudu Aharon, Eyal Golan, Dor Daniel, Idan Yaniv, and Moshe Peretz. <3 In Seret Hodi they're speaking Hebrew, aren't they? Or do you mean the jibberish Dana is singing at the beginning?
@2ndWorld: I'll try to alter your view of Americans here. This is me: http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/2987/photoxge.jpg Do I look obese as you would think of it? No? Well I'm actually a few pounds away from being obese, according to BMI.
waaa? sorry lose sum weight then come talk to me? americans
Please, guys, don't fight. That guy's comment was completely unnecessary, but comments about the weight of Americans are also completely unnecessary. "Obese" isn't really what you picture it to be.
@CannedHeat: I guess the first song is probably more similar to this one.
When you compare those two, what do you think?
@2ndWorld: Oh, okay. Do you listen to Israeli music? All the Israeli people I know don't like it for some reason.
If you do like it, what singers do you like?
I hope this thread won't be closed for being off-topic now.
medaber ba klali lol
I can't understand Hebrew, sadly. Klali isn't even a word I've heard before. I can read Hebrew, but not understand it.
This thread is annoying because you let american people say what they think of an israeli music, ofcourse they will say some bad things.
Most of the people who comment in the thread on how bad the songs are, are fat useless americans, No one asked you what do YOU think of the song, she asked if its sounds alike
so Your main language is english right? why should I an israeli explain americans such thing?.
an israeli could say same bs you said about israeli music on american music So why the hell hating? -.-
Wait, who are you talking to? I'm definitely not hating Israeli music. It's my favorite music in the whole world!
On another note, are you Israeli? I can't tell if you're saying you are by your post. If you are, then awesome.
@DrKiki: xD Well thank you for giving me actual feedback, unlike a lot of other people in this thread.
Ohh. I'm sorry.. I didn't know that. >.< I still think # 2 has a more clear voice, though.
I used the smiley face so you would see that I wasn't trying to sound angry or anything.
The first one has that noise when you go to clear your throat, atleast It sounds like it. THe 2nd is more clear, I think.
That's not "that noise when you go to clear your throat". It's actually a sound used in the Hebrew language. Lol.
Hmm. Then maybe I'm the only one who thinks they're alike. Weird.
@Common:
You're kinda cute too
OT: They don't sound much like each other.
Just because he's saying that he doesn't like the music, doesn't mean he thinks it's bad because it's in a different language. Honestly, the two songs linked were kind of terrible to me. x3 It sounds like wannabee American modern pop.
Israeli music isn't a wannabe anything. It's Israeli music. These guys specifically are singing Mizrahi music, which is a uniquely Israeli thing. Maybe you should expand your knowledge of music.
Actually, no I don't. I just don't like slobs.
Oh, yeah, I understand. But what do you think of the singers?
Please calm down. Why are you defending so much? Do you speak Hebrew?
Actually, no I don't. I just don't like slobs.
I love how you think adding "kid" to the end of your sentence instantly makes you seem more mature or older. There's a difference between a joke and what he said. Think carefully, what are you five?
Please calm down. Why are you defending so much? Do you speak Hebrew?
@FrozenFlameO: It's a maturity thing. I'm american. How many fat jokes, getting called slobs, stupid cracks on Americans have you heard? There's many. You need to grow up, kid. Not everybody is going to like you, it's how you personally deal with it that matters.

Sounds like Bollywood music a bit. xP
I think their voices are A LITTLE BIT similar, but not too similar.
Edit: Shalom, Tapuah Adama!
Yes. you are now a potato.
Haha. My sister always used to say it sounds like Indian music. If you REALLY wanna hear one that sounds like Idian music, listen to this: (It's actually supposed to sound Indian though.)

@Davey: THANK YOU for actual feedback.
@FrozenFlameO: Do you speak Hebrew?
I'm a critic and I judge things, regardless of the language, it's still unbearable to listen too.
I didn't even ask for your opinion on the quality. I was asking if the singers sound alike, for crap's sake.
How close-minded of you. Just because it's a different language doesn't mean you have to be such an ass about it. Other languages are in no way terrible.
I'm a critic and I judge things, regardless of the language, it's still unbearable to listen too.
I think we may have found something worse than Rebecca Black - Friday.....
How close-minded of you. Just because it's a different language doesn't mean you have to be such an ass about it. Other languages are in no way terrible.
Well i'm entertained by both of those musics. But to me they sound a bit similar together. xD
Calm down - -''..
OT: I honestly couldn't even tell there was somebody singing in the first link, and it loaded way too slowly for me to bother waiting.
Excuse me, but if someone commented like that to your own language you would be offended too. Honestly this is none of your business stay out.
I think we may have found something worse than Rebecca Black - Friday.....
What the hell kind of music do you listen to?
It's a different language. Way to be offensive and disgusting.
@Watermelown: Israeli music, because it's awesome and I love it.
