Online Stores for Electronics in Usa

I've been searching for a Sony Xperia Z all over the place and I wouldn't mind getting a used one IF it has warranty. Now, if I were in Germany I'd know where to look, there's a very awesome site that sells used electronics with 1 year warranty but then again the cheapest I've found was for 480$.
Looked around on Ebay.com, found one in nearly mint condition with a tiny blemish on screen for 400$ (+optional warranty for 60$), so much for that.
Still a lot of money though and my Fiance doesn't like the idea at all so I can't buy it.

Do you guys know any sites or places that sell used electronics with warranty? I'd think I could find cheaper things out there but I have no experience with what USA offers and finding online stores is quite a hassle (I found "usell.com" but strangely enough wasn't able to find out if they sell what they buy)
Tired of browsing around blindly (also cause I can't quite know what is trustworthy and what isn't) so I hope there's some specialists here on basil that know where to get certain things. You probably have much more experience than me.

Would appreciate any sort of help or hint!

sorry I didn't even see your post until a short while ago.
checked out newegg recently but they're far too expensive for my taste. Thanks though!

@zoneflare4: he'd have the money but he sees no reason to spend that much just on a phone. I do understand him.. I just hope he'll let me buy it if I find it for maybe 300$ or so (though I doubt I'm that lucky with a phone that costs 600$ new lol)
he doesn't want me to spend 460$ on it cause he wants me to save it for us (visa process, yanno) plus he wants me to have backup money for when I go back to Germany (since I may not have a job right away)
he will get us the latest technology phones once I live here he said (he HATES spending money so if he does he will spend it on the latest stuff which will last him a while) but personally I'd prefer us to have smartphones right now cause of the free messenger that lets you txt, call (and even video call) for free...
he'd be able to get a contract phone comparably cheap most likely but he doesn't want another bill as of now. It's not like he CAN'T do it, but he sees no reason to, really.
I personally need an unlocked phone. If I'd get one here with 2 year contract then I couldn't use it in Germany. If I get one with 2 year contract in Germany I couldn't use it in America... which pretty much sucks I'm also kinda sad that I won't be here for black friday sale/cyber monday x.x that'd be my only chance to get it real cheap I suppose... *sigh*
@SoulBlade: nowadays you can find phones ranging from 500-800$ EASY, the latest technology is sold for ridiculous prices. I think iPhones are just as expensive though their technology is, as far as I know, pretty old (they just don't bother upgrading apparently) plus MAKING an iPhone costs them 30 Euros or so. They make ridiculous profit.
If you ever do spend a lot of money on a phone don't waste it in iPhone
I'd gladly pay 400$ for that Sony Xperia Z (which compared to Euro prices is ridiculously cheap as of now) but my man doesn't approve of it which I understand so I'm trying to see if Americans here have more experience. I could help people with finding cheap stuff in Germany but here I'm just plain lost.
Or maybe Americans tend to toss their stuff instead of reselling it?

@SoulBlade: its mostly store markups cause it doesnt cost that much to make the phone.
U now buying the best phone can be actualy the wrst
no idea if it's "the best phone" in the first place, HTC and Samsung are also quite good (probs even LG and Nokia?), I'm just personally a Sony fan(girl..?) and that phone just impressed me. I've been using an oldass phone for years and never bought myself one and the Xperia Z just caught my eye so I'm kind of eager to get it. I'm not the type of person to buy what's "best" or the latest technology, I just buy what I know I will enjoy regardless of quality, really xD

@tiesandbowties: I can't just spend 600$ out of nowhere. Even 400$ is too much obviously so how am I supposed to get a new phone with warranty for less than that?
@ezioadvanture: I doubt stores have cheap new/used phones below 400$, at least not the sony xperia z

why not just buy a new one with guaranteed warranty? then you know for sure what you're paying for.
