My thoughts exactly I think I'll have an expanded version of Frank's Skill section that describes each 4th job skill. I'll add the other jobs and put some strategies, mostly for later level skills since Arrow Blow is fairly straightforward

EDIT: 1st and 2nd job builds done (did them entirely on my Droid at school, LOL). Will upload once I get home.

You're going to bring math and statistics into this? That's usually the definitive yes and no to questions about skills, so I'd say that's a nice touch.
I'd help you out with that, but I don't think multivariable calculus is going to help with statistics. >.<

Although I'm sure most Marksmen are similar in play style, I know there are some variations, with players being more strategic and some being more on the offensive. I know that when I first became a Marksman, I had no idea how it was played and ended up dying quite often in my early 120's trying to find out a style. I don't think it would be necessary for the guide, but it'd be a nice add-on to talk about different styles of play for different situations. It'd help Marksmen understand the usage behind all their new skills so they know exactly what it does, how important each skill is, what is used the most in 4th job, what they'll continue to use from 3rd job, etc.

Anyways, since you're going to include different skill builds for different styles of playing, I just think it might be a good thing to add the strategy behind it so new Marksmen aren't just "okay, put points into this and use it when I train, but how do I use it efficiently?" It can be just a really general and basic strategy that they can adapt and change to suit their own styles. Something like a Starcraft II build order.

Math is my specialty and I'll work on some calculations for the hard core players but I'm starting this off with skill builds, which will include options for alternative playing styles (LHC, bossing, etc) and also factoring in mastery book availability. I'll do my best to update the guide in a timely fashion

I discussed the matter with a friend of mine on Skype and we both felt that a complete overhaul is required. I am busy the rest of this week but with any luck I can get a beta version of it up this weekend. If you have anything you want me to add or have any info you feel might be helpful please PM me and I'll do my best to add it in a timely fashion. Thanks!

PLEASE fix the damage per minute chart. It's been bugging me for months. If you need a hand, or you're missing info, just let me know.

I would update the training locations and 4th job skills.

Add in equipment suggestions for various funding levels.
