Differential respawn rates

How come sometimes maps have a fast respawn rate but other times they are slow? This is the same for Evolution PQ.

we just had an unscheduled maintenence, and evo is always sluggish after a maintenance

If you are referring to Evo-world, then the best bet is to not set the population rate any higher than 30%. From my experience, if you set it at 30%, it will constantly spawn in a sec or two, right after you kill them.

Any higher than 30% will make the monsters spawn slower. This is from my experience so...

So far doesn't explain how this affects Evolution PQ. Sometimes it's slow but when I exit and return it is fast. The spawn also stays the same, it doesn't fluctuate.

Mostly server lag, I've noticed it in Evo whenever there's a 2x event or right after a maintenance. Usually once a kanna kishins in the map its fixed. Otherwise just wait it out and try again later =/

Kanna kishin, spawn rate sometimes stays at the map. It does other things to the map but I'm not the one to explain them..

Server lag, perhaps. Spawn rate likes to glitch up sometimes.
