Survival rate Mm vs Mercedes comparision

In order not to hijack a thread, I have made this new thread to discuss the survival rate between MM and Mercedes. Please note this is a discussion, so no attacks on the participants and explain your claim.

I invite @AznFlip to this post.

Here's the survival skills for MM vs Mercedes

Marksman:
Elite Puppet 15: MP -70, Duration: 60 sec, Puppet's HP: 30000, Damage: 350%, Damage Absorbed: 20%
Illusion Step 30: MP -35, Duration: 240 sec, DEX: +40, Dodge Chance: +30%
Spirit Link FP: Damage: +15%, Max HP: +40%, Weapon Defense: +30%, Magic Defense: +30%, All Elemental Resistances: +15%
Archer Mastery 15: ACC +225, Avoid +225, Range +120, Speed +30, Max Speed Increased to 160
Evasion Boost ?: Claimed by basilers to passively give 30% dodge chance to MM.

Mercedes:
Ancient Warding 30: Active Effect: MP -80, Damage: +30%, HP: +1500, Duration: 210. Passive Effect: Ignis Roar's Avoid Chance: +20%
Ignis Roar 20: Active Effect: MP -60,ATK: +40, Duration: 180 sec. Passive Effect: Avoid +20%
Water Shield 10: MP -100, Absorbs 30% damage for 180 sec and increases resistance to abnormal status and all elemental attacks by 25%
Potential Power 15: Speed +30, Max Speed Limit: +165, Enemy Attack Avoidance Rate: 20%
Whatever that skills is called that heals Mercedes 5% of Mercedes hp and mp every 4 seconds.

Let's compare. Elite Puppets + Spirit Link FP VS Water Shield.
Water shield has an extra 10% damage absorb but 30% less w.def and m.def. Archers are not known for their defense, so at endgame bosses, %damage absorb > defense.
MM beat Mercs in HP as they get 40% hp from Spirit link, however to compensate the Mercedes has 10% more elemental AND 25% abnormal status resistance meaning pot-lock and seduce time are reduced.

Illusion Step + Archer Mastery + Evasion Boost VS Ancient warding + Ignis Roar + Potential power.
MM total dodge chance = 30% + 0.3(70)% = 51%
Mercedes dodge chance = 40% + 0.15(60)% = 49%
MM wins this one as they have an extra 2% to dodge and +225 avoid.

MM heal vs Mercedes heal.
+10 hp, 10 mp every 10 seconds compared to 5% hp and mp every 4 seconds. No need to explain who's better here.
Yeah Reguler MM's got 60% dodge.
i got 61% due to combat orders xD.

and my avoid is like 7440...
=o

( and yeah i confirm Evasion boost = 30% dodge)
It's more like you have 31% Dodge Rate with Illusion Step and Self-CO.

When it fails, you'd have a 69% to get hit normally. On a boss like HT (with 550 Accuracy), and you with 7440 Avoid, your base Evasion Rate kicks in 63% of the time. When it's boosted by Evasion Boost, your total Evasion Rate is 81% when your 31% Dodge Rate of Illusion Step fails.
Correct although there's one exception. The "dodge" Inner Ability probably stacks additively with existing dodge skills like IS and Ignis. I can't test it personally, but it makes sense.

@TS I'll check your avoid math later.
Has anyone even gotten Evasion Rate as an Inner Ability? I've been checking through the threads on SP, and nothing at all. It seems extremely rare.

@nhan1st: Don't know where you got the 15% for Merc's "dodge chance", but it should be 20% (for Potential Power) which makes the total Evasion Rate 52% instead of 49% assuming no base Evasion Rate involved.
Anything that has a 'dodge' animation is a flat chance to dodge (illusion step, ignis, shadow shifter) and doesn't stack with anything.
evasion boost has been said to be a 1.3 multiplier to whatever your normal base evasion rate is, e.g. You normally have a 30% chance to avoid, now it's 39%.
+avoid if there is any is just + to your avoid stat which is used to calculate avoid rate. I'm not too sure on what exactly potential power gives.
@nhan1st: MM: 30% Evasion Rate (Evasion Boost) & 30% Dodge Rate (Illusion Step)
Merc: 20% Evasion Rate (Potential Power) & 40% Dodge Rate (Ignis Roar & Ancient Warding)

Could I get confirmation that my calculation for dodge is correct? I'm not sure if it's additive or multiplicative. If it's multiplicative, then MM has 60% dodge vs Mercedes 55%.

I'm going to go with Mercs here.
