DI has more range and damage, instead of sitting in the middle spamming lamancha, you can sit to the side spamming impale It also stops spinning after 8 seconds.
I would think that Lamancha would be highly useful in Evo when the swarming begins in Link 3. After all, it's like Beam Dance/Mille Aquilles in the way it hits everything around it constantly. Dark Impale is nice, but Lamancha would probably get more kills.

If its 10 across the board then impale is still stronger iirc, but lamancha might be good if you kill fast enough

both are good in their own overall ways
Lamancha is only useful if you for some reason, need hits to revive due to final pact triggering
Dark Impale = Damage
La Mancha Spear = Style
l mancha has such a good animation but dark impale for dat dmg
Lamancha for style points
dark impale for dmg
Lamancha spear BEATS everything else on looks
Easily dark impale.
