Blame the people who made new accounts to troll peoples' auctions by placing ridiculously high bids on high-priced auctions and never going through with the deals. It's why we can't have nice things.
Don't cheat the system, I suggest you go legit, and actually pose as the best buyer out there. Try to sell some cheap things you consider crap (like, level 110~120 items you find), some people may consider it a treasure. Sell it on basil, and buy some nice things. Get like, 5~6 positives, and when the auction is over, do you best to contact the other person, and make sure they get a good expirience.
Being a good basiller just shows positive things, and you have nothing to lose.

maybe setup low cost item auctions to get around 5 positive feedback
