Terminus Summoner
Hi. I got the questions for those who have experience with Kanna. Did a little search but couldn't find the answer.
-The terminus has a speed of fast (4) vs the fafnir at slow (8) but the base attack is much lower on the summoner, like -23 m.att going this route.
-23 m. att is like people screaming prime scroll but their tyrant @ 2 stars for years. 23 m. att can be gained through funding else where.
I was thinking of a terminus summoner and giving Haku a fafnir (10 slot max for att vs wind 9 slot). If i had to prime scroll I would prime the fan on Haku vs main fan.
Beside the full set effect of ra, is it ever better to lose some damage for speed from the fan (4) + +1 att speed from IA?
I'm not looking to boss. If bossing it's still just 30% boss and 10% pdr (iirc, at 88% it's like adding you +1% pdr to 89%).
Add: Found that weapon speed on fan doesn't matter for Kanna from a 2013 thread?

@CygnusBabii That's not really the problem, kannas skill set is very much a skillset for bossing. @noobie4life There is nothing wrong with kanna, kannas are just a very high-ranged job. A 3m ranged kanna only doing 20m's may not seem impressive, but it doesn't take -nearly- as much funding to reach that point compared to 3m range on another job. They're completely different funding points.

It's because Kannas weren't meant to boss once I realized that sad fate at lv150 I jumped ship to Demon Avenger

Now I was looking at the Kanna's accomplishment, and it seems there are some really high range Kanna, 3mil+ and doing like 20mil damage on hard Magnus from the videos. My questions is, what is wrong with Kanna? Seems to be the low damage skill and multiplier? I don't plan on being over 1.2mil ever but curious to why is that.

With my potential and bonus potential combined I have 17% m.att plus another 4% from a m.att neb!

Just how much %m.att does your terminus have? I mean, a clean sw fan has about 29m.att over a terminous, which works out to be 14% m.att from haku's blessing, plus a bit more if the sw fan was transposed and enhanced and had modest %m.att potentials
I actually have the opposite of what you have above, I placed my Terminus on Haku due to my potentials with more m-att%, because with that it gives me a higher buff from Haku, and I have my Fafnir on my char to basically go with my set as well as the prime scrolling that was done on it, so for me personally it depended on the potentials and scrolling. I thought the exact same with the weapon speeds but I personally found that it didn't effect my attacks much or very little, so I didn't notice a huge difference between them.
Weapon speed for kanna affects casting speed for buffs and slightly affects the speed of shikigami. It also affects the start up time for vanquishers BUT not vanquisher's itself since it's a hurricane skill.
