I dont see how Christians can say gays go to hell

- because based on the bibles logic homosexuality is just another form of adultery or sex for the sake of lust or whatever you want to call it . Now hear me out, Mary Magdalin was an adulterer prostitute, yet Jesus protected her and told everyone not to judge her and that she would have a place in heaven and blah blah. So by that logic gays and adulterers would still be able to go to heaven and we shouldn't judge them, and since a majority of conservative Christians try to put down gays doesn't that mean they're trying to play the role of god which is the most horrible thing to do according to the bible?

Normally I don't care for religion but this just popped into my head.

Thoughts?

True, and not true. Being gay is a 'sin' but so is theft, murder, etc. If the gay is a sincere Christian, then he will still go to heaven, just like the rest of the christian thieves and murderers

I don't think christians technically have the right to claim whether someone can go to hell or not. If you judge someone negatively so far as to say that they would go to hell, that is essentially a sin, because you are causing unjust harm to someone else. I don't think Jesus ever went around, telling people, such as homosexuals that they would go to hell. Jesus built his image by keeping cool, and never resorting to violence, or threatening others.

It is just unfortunate that many Christians do not realize this. I am not a even a Christian, and I think that if Jesus did exist, he was a swell guy, much like Buddha, Gandhi, or other peace activists that never caved into violence.
