Is this a hack or anviling?
Not sure what the anvil thing does, is this it? Or is this hacking? I edited out his name for his own privacy if it's not hacking.

ignorant. while it may show the original name in FM shops, but it shows the anviled appearance name when you click on the character and get their info box. therefore a lvl 8 wand anvil to look like an ele wand will say ele wand when you look at the character info box.

You can't anvil stuff not in the same category. You can't make a wand look like a sword.
its anviled, they been out for a while and still freaking people out? i get the same response for my shad walking around with an anviled canapus hat
Everything on maple Is hacking so It might be that.

Some people have come up and asked me how I'm equipping a "Dragon Khanjar" (level 120) and "Hero's Gloves" (ditto) when I'm only level 40. That's because when you click on your character, it displays the stats of the appearance item.
Also, a bucc could just anvil the Ele wand to a common wand like a Zakum Branch and wear it
It's an Anvil. I've asked this guy about his sword which was an Emp 1H while he was only lvl 80. Saw it in trade box and says it was anvil'd

The name and level in the character window takes the form of the Anvil'd item as well.
So, say that I had a zHelm, and I fused it to give it the appearance of a Dark Pilfer. In the Character Window (both to me and other players), my zHelm will show up as "Dark Pilfer - Level 40".

all you gotta do is press "change quick slots" in the keyboard setup menu, click the box you want to change, and press the button you want to change it to. x)

Definitely anviling. While an anvil'd item does show its real name when its hovered over, It shows the name of the item whose appearance was used in the character info accessed by double clicking. I know this because I anvil'd my estaff with the appearance of a lord tempest staff, and while the items info says staff 5 as the title, my character info labels my weapon as a lord tempest. I just uploaded a screen that proves this, but it still needs to be moderated before it comes up on the site.

oddly, it doesnt. In this ss, you can see that my gloves are emp, with a level 140 req, but on my char info thing it says im wearing SCG with a level 50 req

It's definitely anviled, you can anvil any item as long as its the same thing, aka HAT>HAT. It's not job specific so he's not hacking

Looks to be hacking, but I'm not sure, haven't used anvils. I'd think that they work like NX and you'd see the actual item... idk.
