You should get an e-mail to the e-mail account you use for your Maple account when a ticket is updated, if you check that e-mail and you don't want to keep checking on the Maple site.
It depends. If you're lucky, a month. If you're like the rest of us, months-years. I logged a ticket on November 1, 2011. No answer. Others have outstanding tickets from longer.
I got responses to all my tickets in a week so yeah.
