The Coolie Zombie/Miner
Today I figured out that the Coolie Zombie/Miner may have been made to represent a dead Asian miner. Coolie, back then a racial slur, was used to denote an Asian or a person of Asian descent. Asians, more often Chinese, would work, sometimes voluntarily, in mines in the American West.
Or I could be crazy.

Umm the pronunciation is more like goo lay. Coolie is a bit of a stretch for goo lay.
Coolie zombies are cool and miner zombies are minors.
