Constant Freezing
I'm just getting back into maplestory and it just keeps freezing.... I have restarted the client like 10 times in the past few minutes.
I have decent specs..... shouldnt be doing this. I just want to play maaaaan....
Specs:
Windows 10 64 bit
i7-4780k
16GB Ram
gtx 970
idk what else to include??

Last week I got a new laptop with windows 10 and my game kept freezing after switching in and out of windowed mode. Googling whether others had experienced the same problem really helped. I think maple still has problems with windows 10 so try running it in compatibility mode. This is what I did:
Right click nexon launcher > troubleshoot compatibility > troubleshoot program > the program worked in earlier versions of windows but won't install or run now > windows 7.
I haven't changed maplestory.exe to compatibility mode; not sure if I'm meant to?? I'm not a computer person so I have no idea. I still experience freezes but not nearly as many as I did the first night. I froze/crashed a dozen times during x2; r.i.p. Also, I hope it's not just me, but Microsoft doesn't seem to try to solve the problem of maple freezing/crashing as fast on windows 10 compared to my 6-year old windows 7 one.

@phaibooty: If you're playing Jett, they might be having issues. If that is the case, try a different character.
Otherwise I have ZERO idea.
@suspiciouscats: I've reinstalled the game 3 times too lmao.
I even tried using steam and reinstalling there.
@mybadfurday: I just signed on now. And it just froze.
Games down I think.

Its also still freezing even though 2x is over.
It's either your Internet connection or the fact that it was 2x.
