Confused on Night Walker Jump Attack

So after seeing how important jump attack is to the true potential of a Night Walker, I decided to look up many guides on how to do it, but still confused. I have a Blackwidow Chroma Stealth, use "Q" as my quintuple star, and like jump on space because I have big hands and it's comfortable. However, the guide says it has to be on alt or ctrl, but others say Space works too. Some say you have to have sticky keys off, while others say it works when it's on. I'm utterly confused, and still not able to do it. Like are you suppose to hold down both keys at the same time, or alternate between each? May someone just give me the best way upon how it's done?

If you aren't using sticky keys then you should put your jump on either alt or ctrl. I'd recommend alt.

For your sticky key settings, follow these directions:
1) Control Panel
2) Ease of Access
3) Change how your keyboard works
4) Toggle on "Turn on sticky keys"
5) Click "Set up sticky keys"
6) Toggle everything off other than "Turn on sticky keys"
7) Save & apply

@phantom4sake for your case you just press your Quinstar and jump-key on the same time and keep them pressed, thats because youre running on a Mechanical-Anti-Ghosting keyboard. It takes a little practice, but you'll see.

@thallforms: I can get it to work with sticky keys, and i have two mechanical keyboards and im able to hold multiple keys down and pot and stuff but jump attacking doesn't work. Even if i put jump and attack both on 1 and 2 or alt and c.

@phazed: Some keyboard have a limitation on how many keys that can be pressed at the same time and there is no way to "fix" this.

Did you bind the jump key on alt or ctrl or shift? If not, do that.

Did you bind the attack key on a LETTER key or a NUMBER key? If not, do that.

Also, configure your sticky keys settings like shown in my picture.(previous post)

Basically, sticky key setting should be as followed.
It must be enabled and the option that lock modifier key when pressed twice in a row should be disabled

All you need to do in game now is to simply hold JUMP + ATTACK key and never let go
Please note that jump key is on alt and attacks are on LETTER keys.

i have a razer deathstalker and black widow and it only works for me if i have sticky keys on. I feel like it should work without it since both keyboards support up to like 11 keys pressed at the same time.

I turn sticky keys on, have my jump on alt and quintuple star on X. Sequence for me is Alt > X > Hold both keys. Also this method is super useful with Flash Jump when you assign it to a key, TIL.

I put quintuple star on the ctrl key and jump on the standard one (alt key). On my keyboard, i have 2 ctrl buttons, I use the one on the right beside the arrow keys and i just alternate the ctrl and alt button while moving the arrow keys if necessary.

I finally got to figure out how to jump attack, but I really took advantage of my Blackwidow Chroma Stealth and Razer Synapse, but it should work with all keyboards that have a software. You just need to create a macro where it's Attack press, Jump press, Attack release, Jump release. Then you bind it to a key and have it play while the key is held, and boom. But I can't seem to get it work with other skills like Shadow Spark.

It really depends on your setup. It took me about an hour to find the right combo for me to do it. I have to use sticky keys, but I'm also on a laptop.

Night Walkers can attack in the air... so jump, attack, jump, attack, repeat.

i literally just press quintuple and jump roughly near the same time and hold it. i think you also have to press quintuple like a milisecond faster. my sticky keys are turned off. you can also just bind them to a single button since you have a fancy gaming keyboard.
