Storylines behind NPCs?
Are there storylines behind more obscure characters such as Neinhart, Eckhart, Oz, and Dances with Balrog? Or are they just....there?
And if there are, what are they? Thanks

I wonder what those tombstones at the nlc area were for though. (In fact there were 3 of those things.)

Yeah, Cassandra was just this person that says she can read the future and gives pretty good buffs. Now she turned into some obnoxious quest giver that goes on 'mapleflix' and tells you to do her things.
i'll tell you the story of gaga:
he was once a male stripper
he put on a suit and some glasses
he now works for maplestory

Gaga just popped up out of nowhere it seems. Cassandra and Maple Admin were around as long as I can remember, but I think Gaga appeared hosting an event one day. Then hosted the next event. Then the next. Pretty soon he was a permanent NPC. Also, remember when Cassandra was a brunette? o.o

They used to be used for events back in the day like for 2005's Halloween Candy event. I guess Nexon discontinued their role.
