Are there any non-spam classes?

I'm coming back from a longish break for the reboot world since I can't retrieve my old account. (Can't reset my password cause nexon has some problem with Hotmail or something...)

I remember the buccaneer was a good non-spam class pre-big bang where u had to string together many different attacks so you couldn't get hit and you never just held down one key. From a quick glance aran looks to be the least spammy class but there are so many new classes I've never seen that I know nothing about. Bucaneer has been destroyed now though so whats the best now?

Honestly most new classes aren't that spammy. Nexon keeps trying to "innovate" with the skills, so that means having to use different skills at different times.

I still love good old spammy adventurers though.

Aran is probably the most "spammy" character, since much of the time, they are using one key (attack) plus different direction controls... if not just spamming attack to use their basic combo.

As for the least spammy, I would say Zero and Mercedes are the least spammy, since they are both designed specifically to chain skills together. Mercedes is pretty much barred from spamming many skills, since they all have cooldowns attatched to them if you don't link them into another skill (or series of skills)... which can be annoying.

Hayato, Thunder Breaker and Dual Bladers would be next on the list, as both classes have skills that chain into each other in order to be more effective, but aren't required to do so. Again, chaining skills makes helps damage output, but you won't be too bad off using one skill over and over. I'm a bit disappointed with Thunder Breakers, simply because they are WAY too squishy if you ask me.

Many mages can also tele-cast attacks while having their teleport mastery on to add damage. This is especially useful for Battle Mages, as Dark Shock (their version of Teleport Mastery) does quite a lot of damage. They are, however, pretty spammy, as their main attack skill is used throughout their entire job (much like Arans).

I should also point out that Buccaneers can do some damage boosting with Spiral Assault, followed by another attack. Also, Shade does use one or two attacks over and over in most jobs, but they can use skills to cancel out of those attack animations in order to move quickly to a new target.

@potatopoison:

Correct Zero isn't available in Reboot world.

Thunder Breaker requires chaining skills to together to maximize their damage, maintain defense ignore, and keep 100% stance. At 4th job when you are doing bosses you will be doing Thunderbolt + Annihilate most of the time. When it comes to mobbing you can do Thunderbolt + Gale (Lv. 150 hyper skill allows you to use Gale with no cooldown) for stationary mobbing or Ascension + Thunder + Tidal Crash for moving across a flat maps while OHKO mobs.

Aran is a bit unique here. From Lv. 10 - 169 you will be basically spamming your regular attack and Final Blow (FB). You cannot hold down regular attack key to initiate Full Swing / Over Swing. You must repeatedly tap regular attack key. Once you hit Lv. 170 you will unlock a hyper skill called Beyond Blade (BB). Beyond Blade is your end game skill for both mobbing and bossing. BB can be activated 3 times in a row and only after FB, so hence the FB + BB x3. Keeping up combo count on Aran isn't an issue since you have two skills that help with that: Combo Recharge (3rd job skill) and Unlimited Combo (Lv. 150 hyper skill)

Apparently zero isn't in the reboot world though

I watched a video of thunder breaker on youtube and they seemed to spam skills quite a bit. I guess aran is the best choice then? Also, what does FB + BBx3 mean? The only drawback I'd have on aran is that the combo count seems like it could be a bit annoying to work with.

Like the people said above, and I heard FP mages were kind of mechanical in a sense?

Assuming you mean not spamming the same key repeatedly.

Zero, Thunder Breaker, and Aran (after Lv. 170 you will be doing FB + BBx3).

Most of zeros moves chain in a way. And they have cooldowns, so you simply CAN'T spam.
