REBOOT Which thief?

I'm trying to decide which thief to play in reboot, either NL, Shad, or DB (NW if they're better than NL). I somehow have 3 of those reboot packages (the ones that give you mesos and other things at level 30, 60, 90, 120, 150...) so I'm not sure if that's funded enough for some classes but that's all I got. So, which thief has better raw damage with little funding?

It's all your choice, but I personally would prefer a shadower for the first character, due to their innate survivability. If not, the nl is great for meso farming, and is pretty great at mobbing.

Shadower seems like the best choice for a first character in the world. Even so, you should really go with the class you find the most fun.

I tried starting with a NL, but I died too often at +140 lvls training, couldn't even solo dipq. So I switched to a Shad and since then I haven't died again training. Right now I'm 170. This character was unfunded and had no link skills btw.
Once I get enough funds I'm probably going to switch back to a NL after reaching lvl 200.

In my opinion DB would be useful and fun with good mobility and bossing skills in Reboot.

If you're relatively new to Reboot, definitely look into making a farming mule if your current selection of characters aren't able to fulfill that role already. The starter packages are nice, but continued income is pretty key to see growth on Reboot.

NWs and Shads output really well on single targets with even low funds among the Thief jobs. Getting to around even just 400k range and a bit of Boss% and "Free" IED from links, Codex, etc., you should be able to take out most bosses pretty easily with those two.

But tbh, if you're not looking to take a job longterm and fund it, you should go NW as a Thief due to it having that link skill aspect on the side as well.
