Should I really return to Maplestory?
So even though I have not logged into my Maplestory account since late September (also uninstalled it), I have actually been on BasilMarket chatting with my friends. However, the more I did that, the more I got into browsing forums and I don't know how much has this game changed but I would like to ask if it's worth coming back to. The holidays are coming soon.
Now if any of you remember what happened to me, I posted this some time ago so yeah. I really miss this game and I feel like returning back with my level 201 Dual Blade. Right now I don't have any funds on me but I may be able to get some if it's worth returning to.

[*] Getting decent in under 2 bil of funds.
[*] I will not spend more than 10k NX but I will be playing a lot. NO intention of buying cubes anytime soon regardless of deal!
[*] Funding should be easier than post-Unleashed.
[*] No merchanting!
[*] Be able to get Empress/ChaosPB (optional maybe or w/e is the best equip that's easiest to get?)
[*] 80k clean range would be nice though. (used to have 90 I think)?
[*] Preferably, keep my DB (optional but highly wanted)
So yeah feel free to vote and/or explain why.

@Expressnless: Wow that's nice. But I job advanced already does this mean that I can't do switch jobs? Also, this is only an event right? Not going to be permanent to switch out jobs.
@puretppc: Red has the open job adv which means you can switch between shad/NL/DB once daily at a price. Instead of paying for the job change wait until the 14th i believe where nexon gives out one free job adv coin per person. It is easier in a sense but unless you have a high number of red coins at your disposal then it's going to take time.
@yoohyun69: I remember actually getting close to 100k with like 10 bil at most. This was before the stupid Unleashed patch.
@Pacifist: Oh I see. The thing is, I just want to get a good range with the minimal funding. It's always been my goal. I see there's a rollback from what I heard. What the hell is going on with Nexon these days? Have they gotten worse?

if you wanna enjoy the game it's not about the time you put into it just log on do the events you find entertaining and try not to let it consume your life
and yeah, the events currently going on are pretty straight-forward and it wouldn't require you to log on 24/7 to complete them
I have ~58k range buffed on my Arch Mage with less than 100m.
@puretppc i have a 150 k range at lv 183 with about 25 bil funds so idk if u can do it for that much
@Expressnless: I thought this game was made "easier" to fund after the so called RED patch. Not sure about trying Shads but leveling to 200 is going to take me months lol.

No offence but you're aiming too high with just 2b worth of funding... you won't get anywhere near that much range. If i were you i would just do open job adv to shad since their damage output is pretty insane with minimal funding due to flip of the coin. Just a suggestion.

Decent in <2b funds was possible before they tradelocked the RED tickets.
